Maybe 70-300mm? Cost you about RM 300 only. Anyway, how much you bought the SB 900?
u mean the 70-300mm cost extra RM300 then the 55-200mm?
i got my SB900 at RM1680...

HDR effect cant be overused. Some photos are not suitable for HDR effect, if not will ruin the photo.

SB600 very good flash, it's only smaller n less functions than SB900
but it works as well as SB900
except long distance flashing la, where SB900 bigger flash head can tongue.gif

Ahhh forget that failed HDR pic...

About third party flash, I'm using Nissin Di622 Nikon mount with my D40, it serves me very well, I never tried Sb600 before so I can't compare. Just one issue in Di622: The AF assist light is not corresponding to the angle that the lens is pointing. Maybe you can visit Nissin di622 thread for more info about that...

Again, sorry guys for showing such failure pic T.T I didn't calibrate my display when making that, now i calibrated already, my eyes are like @.@

Sorry yea

nvm, i was afraid i was the only 1 thinking the pic was wrong tongue.gif

D5000 around RM2900 la, if lucky can get RM2800

i think the built-in motor n DX lens lens issue depends on person's usage
normally ppl who buy D40/D40X/D60/D5000 jz wan a good camera/beginner DSLR at low price
they usually wont buy so many lens, so lens compatibility will not b an issue
if wanna upgrade, dun say these Nikon entry levels DSLRs, even ppl wif D80/D90 wanna upgrade to D300/D700/D3
buying entry levels DSLR is like your 1st car, it's cheap n it's a stepping stone to future upgrades
if u r satisfied wif the entry levels DSLR cams, u will stay wif it for many years
if u used n feel it is limited, u will upgrade
so it cant b said buying these non built-in motor models r not worth it
unless rich man la, beginner oso can buy D3X tongue.gif

Kent, you can try out D40 also. Cuz it's cheaper than D60 and you might be able to find 2nd hand D40 from RM1000~rm1300 with kit lens. Don't forget, you need a flash gun (very important and useful) and you might want to save money for other lense.

I am a 2nd hand D40 user, although D40 is just 6.0 megapixels but everyone here knows megapixels do not really matter. For portrait shots, I also recommend 35mm AFS~ Rm800+ if i'm not mistaken.

But it's still your own choice~

P/S: hehe one new photo frm me~
this time's a portrait, coincidentally. Maybe some of you saw this in the photo gallery already.

Does anyone know where to buy lens hood..? The one I use for my 18-200 VR is broken already >.<

Also, can anyone recommend which 3rd-party flash gun would be better, a Nissin Di622 or a Falcon Eyes DPT-386 AFZ..?
