Speaking about Nikon Service Centre,
is coincidence or luck or wat?

My D5000 is AP model from HK,
i went HK for vacation,
then my D5000 rosak there,
then HK's Nikon Service Centre is nearby my hotel,
n my D5000 is registered in their database,
so i got it fixed in 2 days for free
LOL

i was jz taking pics, switched it off
then few minutes later wanna take pics again
tried to switch on but no reaction, totally dead

problem didn really found out,
cos i explain to the staff im from MY,
staying for 9 days only, n i nid it fixed quickly to take pics
so in the end the problem cant b rectified in the 2 days,
so they changed the whole internal circuit boards & etc

@General_Nic.

Pictures are nice. But I think composition can be improved. Especially the 3rd picture. smile.gif
*
thx,
i'll accept any advise

im still not familiar wif manual settings
so the 3rd pic i used built-in night landscape scene mode
it came out like dat
lots of clouds cos it was raining earlier
n HK haze is worse than MY!!

Should try aperture priority. Low aperture if no tripod. But this kind of shooting, tripod surely come in handy!
*
ya...
i feel stupid being the only 1 wif DSLR without tripod that nite...
some even at least got monopod...

btw, cheapest Nikon DSLR sold in HK is D5000, no D60 or lower
n plenty tourists n locals using D3 or Canon 1D >.<
c ppl use cheapest Nikon model oso D80/D90(can easily identify wif the lcd screen on top)
none D40/40X/60/5000 users

*
the retail price off cos is the same wif here...
but the street price is quite low i think

im not sure the prices of Nikon
as i dun wanna ask the shops
cos HK shopkeepers r known to scold u if u ask but dun buy
but i know a forumer bought a Canon 500D in HK for RM2900 only after conversion!
