QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Jun 3 2009, 08:07 PM)
yo guys...
damn...i got a good offer to upgrade to d80...do you think it's worth upgrading? or i should stick with my d40 for now and upgrade to something later on if i need it?

btw... assuming if i need to top up RM400 to upgrade from d40 to d80 as reference guide...is it worth?

i'm very new in DSLR...i don't even really master my d40 yet in my opinion...but just that my fren decided to sell his d80 and offer me a good price...makes me think twice...otherwise i would have stick with my d40....

any 2 cents very much appreciated...sankyu!

Get the D80 if you can afford it! I used to have the camera. The colors produced off camera is just amazing.

QUOTE(loon1031 @ Jun 3 2009, 09:03 PM)
But D40 noise control much more better than D80.

Well, it's not a big issue. Wont matter for the naked eye and also there is always noise reduction softwares.

Well, DSLR is not all about noise. Picking a model includes all other features too. doh.gif

Was just a suggestion for the person who's so worried about noise. doh.gif icon_idea.gif

I use a D300 biggrin.gif

d60 noise still can fix with software biggrin.gif . but some PNS noise really cannot help sweat.gif

For choosing a P&S, i'd be picky about the noise since it doesn't do as good of a job compared to dslr sensors.

in dilemma of getting 50mm f1.4 or 35mm f1.8.
i have not tried both but tried 50mm f1.8 quite a few times.
i mostly shoot potraits. and from my pasy experience i think 35mm would be more versatile for me as in certain time ''taking 2 step back'' just wont do with 50mm.
so here i stand humbly asking to be poisoned by more 35mm f1.8 shots.

will get by weekend.
so far ys quoted me at 800 for it and they have stock.
i need to get either one of these lense and an sb600.
and again here i humbly stand asking for advice on where to shop and a a price guide probably. i knw tht sb600 will cost exactly like 35mm but just hoping to a get a better deal if i take both item
