@fylon,can run at 1:1 divider is the best else 5:4 would be the 2nd choice after 1:1. I don't recommend 3:2 ratio as the RAM is way too slow in transferring data. Bai's mobo can't set to vDimm 2.8 volt,max only 2.68V.

@bai
since you are not running at 1:1, timing is not an issue. keep at spd will do. only tighten when hit the ceiling to squeeze few more drop. wink.gif

if you can reach 3.6ghz then it will be great. thumbup.gif good luck.

@fylon
ray is correct. p4p800-x dont provide some "normal" oc option like
-2.8v vdimm(2.68v max)
-vagp(no adjust)
-PAT(no enable/disable)
-vcore(only 1.7v for northwood, 1.6v for prescott)

vdroop quite bad. even last time i try mine with igreen also fluctuated for vcore. sad.gif

@ray
low latency will not help it push fsb higher, especially on 1:1.

Woah! shocking.gif Never knew that P4P800-X were that bad man.. Thats pity.. Max vdimm only 2.68V, definitely not for BH-5. I had 1 pair of BH-5 before, which the default vdimm is required and written on the RAM is 2.9v. laugh.gif I rmb it was Mushkin Black level. Default timing is 2-2-2-6. drool.gif

@kabu,yeah ..don't expect the RAM can run well on the "X" board. Their setting in bios is quite a low end one.

@fylon, BH5 is not going to work well on the "X" board. No need to waste that effort there. Timing 2-2-2-6 is damn nice if i can run on my board. thumbup.gif

@ianho, last time 2*1GB kits were so expensive because of unpopular and uncommon. Nowadays the DDR2 RAM is dirt cheap. All bosses go to jail because of "fry" the chips price?

Yup, managed to push my P4 2.4B to a max of 2.88Ghz on the Neo-2v. Not exceptional but still better then the Asus laugh.gif

Letting go the P4 2.4B, MSI Neo2-v, 2x KVR400s and a 6800GS laugh.gif

you know max3 la... last time is was the 1 that broke world record to 5ghz using LN2, dont play play. actually if using 3:2, 300fsb:200ram only... but for 5:4, it should be 300:240. still achievable if not using 1:1 in most case. correct me if wrong.
