I'm on windows 7

Currently on 3.0.1 with jailbroken firmware

Try to upgrade my 3gs to 3.1.2 but failed

Already upgrade to latest itunes and it now stuck in recovery mode

i have just jb my phone using blackra1n rc3. the phone's 4th n 5th serial no. is 41, but after jb, i can reboot it without connecting to pc.

windows 7 64bit? do u attempt for upgrade? i suggest u to make a restore instead of upgrade...backup ur phone first....make sure it is done on DFU mode...

To enter DFU mode:
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer
2 . Turn iPhone off. You may have to hold the power and home buttons down together to force the phone off
3. Once the phone is off, hold the power and home buttons together for 10 seconds exactly
4. After 10 seconds, release the power button but keep holding home until the computer recognizes that a USB device was plugged in
5. iTunes should detect your iPhone correctly, and also allow you to restore to the factory default settings

Anyway i manage to upgrade 3.1.2 via my Macbook Pro but problem is when i click the make it rain the screen goes black

Then it stop until now no logo appearing on it

Now my phone is totally black screen after i excecute the black rain

How do i fix it?

Totally fakap now kindly pls assist me

u mean screen is black after applied blackra1n after restart or blackscreen since the first u applied blackra1n? have u try to apply blackra1n on both windows7 and mac?

Yeah after apply the blackra1n the screen goes blank and until not it still like that

Even worst the itunes cannot detect it anymore and it looks death to me sad.gif

How to recover this kindly pls help

bro relax...be patient it will work .Just keep pressing power and home button and never let go .My take close to 20 seconds,the apple logo will come out then let go power button and keep holding home button and make it rain

need help here, after i downloaded cydia and snow in blackrain den only left 4 icons in my springboard (youtube,stocks,weather and voice memos) bt nw i can get maxis coverage bt only left 4 icons??? anybody have tis prob??

This i got before.Its your cydia which did not download properly that caused this.You need to restore again and redownload cydia properly.Make sure got proper internet connection

yea, when i dling dat time, dc after i finish dled cydia so i reconnect bak n dl snow only n tis is wat happended if u hv unstable connection sad......

help... i have restore my 3gs and run blackra1n rc3. after i click make it rain the recovery mode screen appear and then it change to just blank white screen. i didnt see the picture of GeoHot and it just hang there. i wait a while n nothing happen.. i turn it off but cannot turn it back on...

help.. what to do..

need help
already JB iphone 3gs firmware 3.1.2 with blackra1n rc3
and install openssh
enable it via sbsettings
but i still cannot ssh through usb
i dont have wifi
