and this will proceed to activate ur iphone.. bla..bla.. (Just accept it)

after clear all this for update, now proceed to blackra1n..

Sucessfully installed, Cydia works blah blah blah but I am unable to get to the root directory.
IPhone Explorer and IP Browser do not register that my IPhone is jailbroken

Update: geohot released a Windows jailbreak called “blackra1n” which is similar to redsn0w in that it covers multiple devices (and it covers beyond just firmware 3.0.1 where redsn0w currently stops).  blackra1n is not a carrier unlock.  You must always avoid updating your baseband to maintain your unlockability.  If you use blackra1n to jailbreak 3.1 or 3.1.2, the steps you take before running blackra1n will prevent the unlock from working on your iPhone for potentially a very long time. By the way, we haven’t yet tested whether a blackra1n’d device can accept a custom IPSW without tweaks, but if it doesn’t then it should only require a minor change.

There's not a way to unlock Iphone 3GS now right as pwnage tool and Redsn0w are not compatible with it yet ... Or at least stable ? Should I wait till it then ? What should I do now with my Jailbreak ? Just use it first ?

for lock device.. alternative firmware 3.1.2 for u is pwnagetools
that create custom firmware. By using this tools, the baseband will stay 4.46.08

My baseband now is 05.11.07 with version 3.1

So you're saying that I should now upgrade it to 3.1.2 using pwnage tools and restore(delete) the jailbreak ?

My device is from 3 . I just got it last Wednesday by the way. I'm restoring it now and upgrading it to 3.1.2 through iTunes to avoid what you were telling me to avoid =D
