Once you have upgraded ur firmware then I dont think you can downgrade it again as Apple will not be able to verify it... Do check out this thread, perhaps you will get more infos from it.. Yes you are right.. It is not going to works if u DID NOT store your ECID n SHSH to Saurik Server Before....

thr is smting i need to know here...
i hv a 3gs working on 3.0, alredi jb and hv the ecid on file frm cydia.. i have also editted the file as mentioned in saurk's post... my question is, wat do i do next? do i upgarde to 3.1 in order to get it to talk 2 saurik's servers? |

i m using this step to unlock and jailbreak my 2g... but its doesnt work... the downloading jailbreak data take long time... after that, the phone locked aso... no changed... anyone can help pls??

I have just upgraded to 3.1 firmware and jailbroken on my 3G. I am having some problems with some applications:-
Facebook - keep prompting me to login everytime I start the app iPod - the songs fast forward by itself or stops and playback Do anyone face these problems? |

for 3gs owner that "terlambat" make sure ur devices ON FILES with sauriks server, u can do now...open cydia and there will be a clue for u to follow.
