if i jailbreak my iphone 3Gs with purplera1n just to install applications such as games, will my iphone get lower performance or any effect?

so what u meant is that, if i use purplera1n, i can increase the iphone's performance?
if i use Purplera1n just to jailbreak but not to unlock. will it cause any problems to my iphone? |

After reading the post by harmeet15, i'm kinda afraid now to use purplera1n... because of some corrupted baseband code, ram usage 6900times, etc
 Anyway, base on the site original redsn0w site, it says that it is not compatible with iphone 3Gs. Is it true? |

3.0 with purplera1n > 3.1.2 with blackra1n = success
All applications in 3.0 i used can also run in 3.1.2 |
