Anyone has success enable the SRS Premium on both AL speakers & headphone jack? I tried but only headphone jack. The output sound really big different

And the missing driver i think just the card reader on my lappy . Recently the window update always update my lappy audio driver also make my laptop no sound , just only headphone can produce the sound , need to install back vista driver -.-"

my CQ40-502AU can only achieve 3.1 for desktop performance on aero and 3.8 for gaming only.
u must have a tip on how to increase laptop performance do you?

guys, can someone tell me how much ram this laptop can support? i mean max amount it can support.

4GBx2 according to service manual. I dont see any point going for more than 2GBx2. In fact with Win 7, IMHO 2GB is more than enough.

yup. that true. but my lappy seems lag abit with 2gb ram. can play wolfenstein with medium setting. but with all my program close including antivirus and must use amd fusion at expert setting. huhu

for now . 3g is more than enough for me , in vista / or win7

i`m using windows 7, its work better but still need to add ram. huhu



btw.. my ram is 2gb but why its say only 1.75gb usable?? can you guys explain it to me?

what i can see total GC ram is 894 MB.. almost 1 GB lor. can i reduce the memory amount that GC share ?

i donknow whether the memory share can be reduce or not . need to wait other pros to come explain

Hmmm.... if my OS is a pirated XP OS... HP won't catch or something right ? And its the shop that helped me install the pirated XP. This won't have anhy problem for warranty claiming right ?

should be no problem .my previous housemate also using ahem os . and he still can get repair for his wireless adapter. as long you are still in warranty period ,you should be possible to claim it .

no way to reduce the pre-shared amount, unless hack the bios. its just selected but not fully occupied until meet up app required.

Actually the shared memory technology is flexible. Maybe max 894MB can be shared but that doesnt mean 894MB of your system RAM is gone all the time. most apps and even heavy games wont able to utilize more than 512MB. So the amount of RAM use for graphics changes all the time, according the load.

surfing 60c-70c
load 75-80c
