Umm.. does d Compaq CQ-40 126 AX overheat frequently ?
I've been using mine for 5 months.... I think total number of times it shut down due to overheated is.... like 6 times... Is it normal ? I have a cooler pad... and i sometimes jz use it to Dota Fever for 4-5 games den suddenly overheat den off...
Is my cooler pad not functioning well ? If i use d USB Cooler pad does it increase d temp of my laptop? since nid 2 use laptop power 2 make d fan spin.

So... whats the maximum temperature for my compaq cq40 ? I downloaded speedfan and after watching 1 replay of dota ( approx 1 hour ) den when i went out and check d temp... its always around 105 degree celcius for the core.
Im living in a no-aircond room. And the temperature here is quite hot. Does this affect anything at all ?

When im wathing replays on w3, i usually fast-forward etc etc with the replays. Sometimes i go up to 8x repaly speed just to skip the boring parts. When i check the temp out in speedfan, it shows 100++ celcius. I tink hardward problem adi

I undervolt it to the specific value the person asked me to undervolt ( in this thread forgot who / where ) . I think im using CQ40-126AX . Using XP ( fake ). Im in school now thats why i cant check my laptop model.
I went to a shop and asked the person whats the problem...he told me my fan spoil already. But then, i can still hear the fan sound moving. Donno he cheat me o not.. but he's not the seller. And few days ago, i on the laptop for 1 hour only. Play 1 game dota.. not even 20 minutes it overheat already.
SO.... is this fan problem ? Or hardware problem..? Think dis week go lowyat to dat shop claim warranty adi....sien arhhh

Ok i try undervolt it slowly. Btw, the shop guy say he wont open the laptop cause he sked he break the warranty seal. This is true or not ? Cause i dono wher the warranty seal is located. maybe he cheat me .
This laptop the fan still got sound, so.... u ppl confirm not fan spoil ? even when its hot...the fan will move faster etc etc.
Got any way 2 clean dust without breaking the warranty seal ( provided the seal is there)

Err... can nyone write a comprehensive quite 2 the K10 stat tool ? I don't seem 2 really noe how to use it.
The voltage keeps going way under the one i set.... in p-state i just lowered it down a notch to 1.125..... but when i press refresh in debug, the voltage went down to 0.800. Then i just closed it.

No spade, thats not what i meant. The figures were just examples. I want to know, if we finished everything, then we press Apply. Then Enable clock function. Then exit the program. WILL IT TAKE EFFECT? Thats what i want to know. Because after exiting the program, then after i OPEN the prog again, the icon at the bottom right of the screen says K10 is still not enabled. Do we leave the whole thing open ?

my CQ40 overheats even after i undervolt it. I think i will be sending it for warranty already.
BTW, if i lost my receipt, can still claim warranty ? Still got the model serial key at the bottom of the laptop.

Hmmm.... if my OS is a pirated XP OS... HP won't catch or something right ? And its the shop that helped me install the pirated XP. This won't have anhy problem for warranty claiming right ?
