just put in the disc and run, at the completing stage around 80%, it will bump you to restart the notebook, eject the disc, let it complete. after that reinstall all the drivers. it's simple!

Windows 7 is the latest OS so AHCI/RAID drivers are included in CD. You put in the CD and let the installation begins.

Win 7 is lighter than Vista although XP would probably the smoothest among the 3. Games wise, all should be compatible with 7 plus you get DirectX 10 support while XP only supports 9.

no problem!

i told you to eject the disc at the completing stage due to last time i installed it, i duplicated few copies inside my notebook due to the disc remained in the dvd drive. After that, they are a few folders in my C drive which are the installation files, some files just could not be deleted (very annoying). then i used Unlocker 1.8.7 to clear the folder. Enjoy your Windows 7!

no problem so far maybe due to i seldom on my notebook, most of the time will use my desktop.

just don't use both battery and AC power at the same time, this will cause the battery to worn out fast

This is normal because this model's battery doesnt support that. Most of the notebooks supports that though. Mine care barely reach 2 hrs. After almost 1 year of usage, I will be lucky to get 1 hour due to battery depletion.
