maybe can show a screenshot of the error or something?
its very difficult to know what the problem is, it can be either hardware or software. perhaps it can even be a virus or a trojan?
since u say windows shutting your games down, ur best bet i to leave a screenshot of it here, maybe some OS related problem. maybe someone can help.

my friend use comapq cq40 AMD+ATI also...

He tell me he use this laptop open 5hours to see movie.He put the laptop at his bed to watch....dun have cooler...

After 5hours he try to pegang the laptop..he tell me dia punya tangan cepat2 tarik because too hot....

Then he tell me his laptop down there melt a bit...

obviously....i think any laptop also will be the same. putting on your bed will only prevent the air from coming out, not to mention the heat buildup of the fabric will only make it worse. tell ur friend to put something flat and solid beneath the laptop.

+1, even core 2 dual processor laptop oso will hot. This is the same as u put ur face on the bed, see wheather u can breath anot.

Maybe you can tell use more on what u plan to do with your laptop, do you play games, is battery life importaant and etc. There are many models available in the market.

Nope. 401AX = HD3450, 512MB.
The one with HD3200 is 401AU.

i have no special plan for the laptop that i would like to do......
more on as usual as people does....
i like playing games, sometimes editing on photo, do some paper work and so on...
any recomendation???

as i go on survey in Low Yat...there are plenty of choices...
and i do not knw which is better...
i heard that dell is not good after purchase
i heard that acer is not worth due too much of problem

but the thgs is now is promoting the DDR3....
i not so sure bout it...but as i knw the thgs is for the longer battery usage..
