Just go to uMobile, and request them to MNP over. Make sure you don't have contract with Maxis or else the process will fail...

QUOTE(kit2 @ Dec 26 2015, 12:28 PM) beware if you are getting celcom postpaid. the monthly fee may be low, but when you sign up, you pay two times the monthly fee for the first month. they call it advance payment, and you will never get back the advance money later. this I agree. it's like a "deposit". |

If you have existing contract with Maxis (eg. you bought your phone with 24-month plan), you CANNOT MNP out.
If your post-paid plan is not tied to a timeframe, you can MNP out. No need to go Maxis. Just go to your TELCO and they will do the necessary. QUOTE(BboyDora @ Jan 24 2016, 08:34 AM) |

I believe you just need to buy the plan. For Hotlink, I think they have 1.5Gb + 1.5 (owl hours) for RM 30.
No need to switch plan. QUOTE(kucingfight @ Jan 28 2016, 10:59 PM) |

I have using digi for 10 yrs plus, using an old obsolete plan. Smart plan 68. Monthly bill, including sub line (have 2 lines) total up to around rm 140-rm 170. only have 3GB data on main line, other 2 lines no data.
What is the best option available in today's market. Looking U-Mobile Hero plan, looks good, don't really understand the Celcom gold plan or any other plans in the market right now. Any comments from folks that had recently switch to a new plan. Priority would be data, and fixed payment. So with u-mobile my commitment would be rm70+rm50+rm50, would be rm180.2 (gst incl.), data would be 17GB/month? Any other hidden chargers? |

yes, the data quota would be 13gb only. Thanks for noticing.
So is u-mobile the best plan available in the market? All data would be utilized to the max, i don't believe there would be any carry over. |

There would be an advance access fee(to be refunded when you terminate) as well as stamp fee of RM10(not refundable). What is the best option available in today's market. More details: http://www.u.com.my/postpaidbill Cheapest option if you want all to have data would be to subscribe 3 x U28 (28 ringgit for 3gb data + 50 min free call + 200sms) = RM84 monthly. I'm seeing that although your smartplan only costs 68, even with 2 subline (add 10 per subline?), it still can add up to 140 to 170 which means that your calls are quite a lot also. If that's the case, you can opt for P70 (7gb + unlimited call) + 2 x U28 = RM 126. If you can further inquiries, you can post your questions here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3781199 |
