I'm planning to get a second SIM for dual SIM phone. Second SIM is purely for data only.
Am currently considering UMobile 28 postpaid but my previous experience ~ 5 years ago on UMobile data - speed/coverage is very bad. Q: Which is the best plan for data? (cheapest and best coverage for KL and Ampang area) My budget is around RM 30 / month. UMobile 28 offers 3GB. |

I am planning to change from Prepaid to Postpaid. Currently using Umobile, was looking to upgrade to Maxis since I my friend said maxis coverage is better compared to others. Now after reading the comments, I'm somewhat confused over which telco offers good coverage with good pricing package.
Sifus, please advice. |

Looking to buy iPhone 6s 64gb from any telco. Need at least 3gb data monthly. Additional voice call and sms would be a plus.
Which one (Maxis, Digi, Celcom, umobile) is the best? Or should I buy iphone 6s without contract better? This post has been edited by ThE-1cY: Mar 16 2016, 09:33 PM |

Without contract, iphone 6s 64gb msrp is RM3699I am thinking about Digi Postpaid 48 (3gb data monthly), device price: 3185. One year contract only. I think most plans will only be revised cheaper next year? Edit: Digi Postpaid 68 (6gb data monthly), device price: 2729. 2 year contract. Total cost in 2 years (68x24+2729)= 4361 Digi Postpaid 48 (3gb data monthly), device price: 3185. 1 year contract. Total cost in 2 years (48x24+3185)= 4337 If I take Digi Postpaid 68, I can get 6gb data for rm 24 extra in 2 years. Assuming there is no ridiculous cheaper plans coming this 2 years la. was compiling a little here and there mainly on main operators cause my wife forgot to top up her Digi prepaid within grace period. # got terminated by digi, worse still SIM not registered under her name hahaha
not a perfect list ya, just sharing here. 2016-malaysia-top-post-paid-plans 2016-mobile-prepaid-plans-in-malaysia conclusion: prepaid - digi price is ok if u plan for minimum use postpaid - go for umobile/digi/celcom for lowest per month commitment passive user, min call/sms, leech from free Wifi use Whatsapp/wechat etc app to call/message, should go for 365 validity prepaid plan |

Interesting. What network is this plan under? From what i read, Maxis is the best provider in Malaysia right? that depend which part of Malaysia you willl be visiting.. certain states of Malaysia like Sabah and sarawak, i believe Celcom is better coverage ans stronger signal...... if i not mistake..
