beware if you are getting celcom postpaid. the monthly fee may be low, but when you sign up, you pay two times the monthly fee for the first month. they call it advance payment, and you will never get back the advance money later.

Hi, coming back to Malaysia after being gone for 5 years. Out of touch with what's going on with everything in Malaysia.

For day to day mobile plan, is Digi/Umobile still the most economical plan? I remember maxis and celcom was like the premium companies where you pay more for less.
Looking for RM30 a month with 4G data.

Hi guys, may I know which telco have less spam sms? Celcom is annoying me with spam sms, and worse- spam CALLS to calling machine selling advertisement.

And I have fraudalent roaming charges. Imagine being sent a message saying:
"your roaming pass for today is activated" many hours after coming back overseas, and also without data roaming turned on.
The bigger issue is that you would have to wait for the next billing cycle to ask for an investigation. Might take almost a month to be even able to make a complain.

Once I accidentally exceeded my roaming charged(legit charges, really had to use phone alot) and my line was barred. My bad, however even after returning to Malaysia and paying all balance and asking to unbar my line so that I can pay more money to them, the unbar prcess took around 2 days which I was still charged in-full for data.(no rebate whatsoever)

I finally snapped and had enough. To solve all annoyances and since I don't use much calling or data, roaming is company paid so no pricing issue and I just want peace. May I know whether Digi or Maxis has less spam sms?
