I need a postpaid data plan that has literally widest coverage, fast, stable connection for at least 2GB p/month mainly use for tethering over my laptop. Voice plan is second priority for now.

Any suggestion?
Celcom? lol

Thanks.

take maxis surfplan 2gb per month @rm50 with throttle down after data exceed. speed stable in most area. speed averaging on 2-4mbps and if off peak hours can reach up to 6-8mbps in some area.. or umobile as their package quite good.

hello guys, need some help here.

im a heavy internet user, i seldom call or sms, currently using hotlink prepaid, thinking to change to maxis postpaid/digi postpaid.

kinda tempted to change to digi smart plan since they are having promo by doubling the internet data now. any advices???? biggrin.gif
*
if speed is not your concern then digi smartplan will definately suitable for you as the speed averages around 700-1mbps. for all three plans 48-1gb/2gb,68-3gb/5gb,88-5gb/8gb.. . *there are possibilities of achieving faster speed at 2-5mbps for new subscribers as found out from two of my friends using smartplan tested with my earlier 68 smartplan.

maxis postpaid- you can take surf plan 50=2Gb, or surfplan 75=5Gb per month. no bill shocks and speed will throttled down up to 64kbps once exceeded data. speed vary from 2mbps-4mbps easily and some areas can achieve up to 8mbps.

Please suggest a package be it prepaid or postpaid.

We are currently on digi
Currently my committed amount for sub line is about RM40 or slightless less after discount the auto debit .

Free call between main and sub (but we rarely call each other, just whatsapp or use office fone to call FOC!)

Call rate 1 min $0.13, and 30 secs $0.07

Oct call usage RM22, nov $24, dec $14.36

150mb data (sometime accidently hit youtube then habis)

I feel that a lot of credit burn because of under utilized.

Please suggest a package, hopefully must be able to use back SAME number!.

Haih, so long didn't read this thread...

Most of the prepaid are similar since you dont want to pay any FEE.

And, most of them require top-up and reload to maintain/lengthen its validity.

the longest validity that I know is = Happy Prepaid, Top-Up any value[of course min is RM5], validity is 60 days, The starter pack is available in Kelantan and Terengganu. There are many telco shops that still sell it

other than that is

Umobile
user posted image

Tron = reload RM10, valid 365 days

BUT, I still recommend that Celcom Xpax package[with fee] or Digi Super Long Life[Best Prepaid, also with fee]
that can last 1 or 2 years.. it is cheaper than just reload and reload...

do you only want internet plan or with voice plan?

if you already have your own voice plan, what voice plan that you subscribed?

cheapest,

Mobile Internet Daily [500MB] RM5/day
Mobile Internet Weekly [1GB] RM18/week
Mobile Internet Monthly mLite [300MB] RM28/month

LOL... there are many smartphones that you buy in Malaysia that can support Maxis 4G network, Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, Asus Padfone 2, HTC One XL,
long short story

now, they only launch 2600MHz, Later, possibly around this year, they will launch another spectrum such as 1800MHz

you are posting in this section, so I think you are referring to mobile internet package and not wireless broadband, right?

another question, you want prepaid or postpaid?
