Hi, All.... I just bought the CW16 and found that when i connect HDMI output to external display, it is only 720p, but i found the Nvidia setting got shows 1080p but unable to choose it. Is this hardware constraint? or did I miss out something? Please help.

I dont think it will be below 4k cause they're selling the older models around that price too..not sayin i wont like it if it does lol

CW screen couldn't support 1920 x 1080

If you connect it to a Full HD screen, then it can go up to 1920 x 1080 on the connected screen.

@Revamperz: Rm 4,299 for the i3 specced and RM 5,299 for the i5 specced. Prices to change without any notice. If you're interested with the CW, then I recommend you take the upcoming CW26. The turbopboost feature is very useful. Much better than the current C2D.

Thanks for reply, what i mean is i connect to the 23" full HD LCD and found that it is only running 720p which looked pretty ugly on the big LCD.

The thing is, Turbo Boost and Hyper Threading are only worthwhile IF you use them. The high price is also due to the fact that they are new processors. Unless you are going to do a lot of CPU intensive tasks(like video encoding, 3D rendering), you won't notice significant difference during your daily use.

so i see.... might not fully utilise it then.hehe..
