Hi Guys, wanna ask something..

Last Saturday I went to Lowyat Sony Centre to buy Vaio SR36G..
promo price RM3,299..
too bad the promoter said only SR with "pink" color available...WTF???
they mention no more stock for SR (black/gold) within entire m'sia.. is this true? pls share some info with me..

they try promote to me the CW16 (oni diff is new RAM DDR3)..but not intrested since mindset oni wanna buy SR..

what do you guys think? CW16 or SR36G??? Btw, I use vaio for working purposes & bussiness..
currently using vaio CR22 (old school)

PS: At same time saw 1 richie guy bought 3units CW16 (dealing less than 5minutes) while i spend 1/2hour there bargaining with the promoter..
feeling so binbo..haha

SR 55G would cost you RM4,299 based on latest sony centre price..

better watch out for scammer..
as long the seller willing to COD, then it should be ok..
buy only when you satisfied with the units..

yup.. i don't like CW which looks shiny and easily collect finger print all over the surface..

if no SR model available..might need to consider new Vaio Z series..looks really cool with i5/i7..but only available late Feb if not mistaken..can't imagine the price for this series..rm6-7K..wah lao..

i'm also keep an eye on SR55 (RM4299)..too bad no stock..

last time I almost wanna buy that CW16, spec is ok but still I dont like the design..




y_owez, i think CW series slightly heavier compared to SR..for biz purpose i like lappy weight less than 2kg..

the unit I bought yesterday is brand new (verified during cod)..open the box and chk all the accessories..seller also very nice and explain everything..got few month left warranty..just finish sony online registration last nite..

so far, I never found anyone selling fake/stolen Vaio or even heard of such cases..
i think u can always ask for receipt/invoice from seller to verify..

missy y_owez, seems to me ur looking for genuine black vaio..matte black is ok also & i don't think there's much of a different.. can only spot if u look really close..too bad SR55 (black) currently no stock..if not, i already go and grab one..

dont think got stock by early Feb..why dont u consider CW16? spec quite ok also..

originally vaio was pre-installed with McAfee..
i remove McAfee and now using Kaspersky AV..
the best AV for me

if u can't wait..just go grab the Vaio Z..
