Actually the dual channel doesn't matter much, capacity of ram is much more important....

8 cell battery is bigger physically,
so it will be protruding either to the back or below the notebook.... |

QUOTE(Tohsan @ Feb 22 2010, 09:07 PM) just went to the Sony Service Center to sent for my CW36 to repair, takes one week to settle. CW36 or CS36?During waiting time there, I saw quite a few CW36 on their table. My CW36 for the first few weeks noisy fan follow by the sudden Power Cut after I change from Window Vista 64 bit to Window XP Pro. What do you think is the problem of the sudden power cut? So far still none of CW36... |

Its not really to replace the RAM. But even if you have big RAM, you would still need to have pagefile, which reside on the hdd. Its this that being moved to the SD card, dedicated for the pagefile only...
This would give better response as the pagefile doesn't need to compete with other hdd activity... Though it still depends on the SD card speed... |
