where can i get a case or sleeve for a FW series..
because it is 16.4 wide screen..usually is 15 and 17 inches...

me, been headache about the fan recently. Going to service center soon, this will be the 3rd time visit for the very same problem

what's up with the fan? A lot dust stuck inside? I think i need to send my vaio also after one year for that ...

I dunno, sound like the fan's bearing is going out. My last fan also suffered from a similiar problem and sony just changed the fan on feb, then now it is coming back again

the pre-order ended 14th feb ma. i bought mine after that date..

i was just saying about the updates lah.. cos normally sony update their product in 3-4mths ma...

Usually VAIO maintain same price point one, only the specifications get updated. Very seldom they increase price.

I hv been doing a bit of "deliberating" between Mac & SR...and finally decided to purchase SR36GN.
and also after taking an hour plus "cruising" at LYP for other brands...

I got the SR36GN/B, upgraded to 4GB of memory(RM 90), *FREE* Sony VGP-BMS33 Bluetooth Laser Mouse (cost RM288), MS Office Home & Student 2007 (3licenses, cost RM250) + Vaio bag = RM 5578. Its a great deal for the spec and what not! I would say its a bargain compare to its rival (same price bracket & specs).

Currently i'am luv'in it!

if like that the untung lah for the next upgrade user

guys, serious problem here.

after transferring photos from my SD card via the SD card reader on my SR35, some photos appear corrupted on windows picture viewer.

a quick search on google revealed this to be a common vista problem but some managed to fix it with some updates.

anyone here having this problem? this is annoying and I just transferred a whole load of photos from my XP machine and i've deleted the originals on the XP machine... So far going through some of them and no corrupted ones yet.
