I'm a Sony fangirl & most of my stuff are of their brand.
Walkman pwns ipod in sound quality! i agree with you Arapan. that's why i never envy people with ipod touch or something

for notebooks, of course others specs are better but with so-so design. it's the best thing in the Windows league.

I cannot see myself being a fangirl of any other brand than sony...haha!

It all began in 2003, when my father bought me a used laptop (PCG-FX series) for me to finished the final semester project. i never saw a sony notebook & never know they do make laptops, so i made a search....
yeah it's pretty high end price at that time. since then i know what i would want to get in the future if i can get a job after grad then my 1st laptop would be a sony. until now i am very satisfied with their performance & style

no lah, what i mean is the cheap pasar malam type
if there's any.. lol

for my laptop i have the original bag that can convert to backpack, but since i've already have a dedicated laptop backpack with much more storage i just use the pasar malam pouch. yeah, it's big & ugly...but what's most important is at least i have an outer protection cover to prevent it from scratch

only solution is to make it yourself lol

me myself never see a Vaio P up close & personal in different parts of the country (Kuching here) apart from KLCC & LYP

how do you find yourself working with that oldskool type of 'mouse/trackball'? tak rasa janggal ke, no touchpad?
i'm waiting for your personal review on your P after you have it for more than 1 month

i have the suspected 'battery drain' issues within this few days.
dunno if it's a real problem or just the setting totally eats the power quickly.

what i usually do on my Z is during usage, i used to charge up to 100%, then use high performance setting.
after that before going to sleep or away i unplug the power cable & put the laptop on sleep mode.
next day about evening time it's totally no power so i have to restart as normal.


is it advisable to do that?

yeah, i still have remaining about 75-90% power left the next day when i put the laptop in sleep/hibernate mode.

thanks for your advise, i'll try to avoid that for the sake of battery life

i know that, it only turns off the LCD & few hardwares, but not fully

easy to start almost instantly that's why i use sleep.
sometimes hibernate & shutdown completely takes longer time to restart. most of VAIOs i've ever use have that problem.

never tried that, but if you using the speed mode i think should be no problem
