I'm a Sony fangirl & most of my stuff are of their brand.
Walkman pwns ipod in sound quality! i agree with you Arapan. that's why i never envy people with ipod touch or something for notebooks, of course others specs are better but with so-so design. it's the best thing in the Windows league. I cannot see myself being a fangirl of any other brand than sony...haha! It all began in 2003, when my father bought me a used laptop (PCG-FX series) for me to finished the final semester project. i never saw a sony notebook & never know they do make laptops, so i made a search.... yeah it's pretty high end price at that time. since then i know what i would want to get in the future if i can get a job after grad then my 1st laptop would be a sony. until now i am very satisfied with their performance & style |

no lah, what i mean is the cheap pasar malam type
if there's any.. lol for my laptop i have the original bag that can convert to backpack, but since i've already have a dedicated laptop backpack with much more storage i just use the pasar malam pouch. yeah, it's big & ugly...but what's most important is at least i have an outer protection cover to prevent it from scratch |

QUOTE(davidmak @ Apr 26 2009, 10:58 PM) Yeah come to think of it, the dimension of the P is a bit strange. Its very wide like a lady's clutch bag. The product is so niche so it'll take sometime before sellers offer them. only solution is to make it yourself lol Added on April 27, 2009, 12:08 pm QUOTE(nicholas88 @ Apr 26 2009, 06:55 PM) wahahaha!! hentai also use VAIO meh? This post has been edited by speedfamgirl: Apr 27 2009, 12:08 PM |

QUOTE(Miyabi @ May 5 2009, 08:14 AM) the battery drain (or you call it as "the battery if leave on the laptop, the electric inside the battery will gone very fast") is known problem for previous release batch for sr and z series too, but in your case, to decrease until 48% isnt normal for the battery just for one night. your battery lifespan might have been reduce in this case. i have the suspected 'battery drain' issues within this few days.you can check at control panel, if i'm not mistaken. the battery best keep at 40% only if you decide to not use the battery for like week(s) or month(s). Added on May 5, 2009, 8:15 am yes, but please keep the battery level at 40% before you do that. dunno if it's a real problem or just the setting totally eats the power quickly. what i usually do on my Z is during usage, i used to charge up to 100%, then use high performance setting. after that before going to sleep or away i unplug the power cable & put the laptop on sleep mode. next day about evening time it's totally no power so i have to restart as normal. is it advisable to do that? |

QUOTE(Miyabi @ May 5 2009, 04:23 PM) i wouldnt recommend to do that if you want to keep the battery level at 100%, well, usually around 97% for fully boot to windows. t overcome this problem, what people do is, charge it fully, then take out the battery from the notebook instead of let it inside. the next time you want to use the battery, you've to insert it back to the notebook. it might hassle to some user, but until now, sadly, this issue has no cure. yeah, i still have remaining about 75-90% power left the next day when i put the laptop in sleep/hibernate mode.Added on May 5, 2009, 4:28 pmfor one night for fully charged battery inside the power off notebook , the battery will have around 75% ~ 95% roughly on the next day. thanks for your advise, i'll try to avoid that for the sake of battery life |

QUOTE(tgrrr @ May 5 2009, 05:10 PM) Hmm why sleep instead of hibernate or shutdown? i know that, it only turns off the LCD & few hardwares, but not fullyAFAIK they are not the same, sleep doesn't fully power down which means it is still draining your battery, while hibernate does fully power down. easy to start almost instantly that's why i use sleep. sometimes hibernate & shutdown completely takes longer time to restart. most of VAIOs i've ever use have that problem. |
