wow v2 for vaio d hehe. how many cs users here?

hey... i bought vaio cs26g 2++ months ago.
these few days i noticed that the fan is quite noisy....
is thr any problem with it?
or is this normal?

ps* im not sure if its the fan's sound. but juz vey noisy while its processing sth i think....

The FW series claimed they improve a lot over their reverse style hinge.

SONY, I heard a few of bad sharings from my frens as well, but I still get the FW anyway.
1) the VAIO CS user, claim there's something wrong with the fan, sent in 4 times, the problem come back unsolved (few week ago).
2) an ex-admin staff work in the repair centre (Pg), witness the incapability of the technician there (3 yrs ago)

Sometime, u have to personally see the scenario to judge it. Despite of so many DELL fans, my past ex[erience with the DELL XPS is kinda awful too, the build quality, the performance... But I muz say this, DELL after-sale service is splendid!
SONY, no doubt it has the finest material I ever seen, after Apple's.
Goto the show room, see & get a hold of the SONY, then other brands, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Compaq... u name it.
Feel it, compare it, since the built material is what u can feel/judge on the spot.

Maybe u can consider this too?

U should gather petition to against irresponsible feedback by SONY instead since it's so obvious a SONY's common defect.

Either they fix the prob, or they recall & replace with a prob-free unit.

I've tried my very best to locate the INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY for my FW purchase in US.
But all in vain.

Seems they not include the INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY in their every sale. I wonder why is that happening to a international company?

Even an ASUS oso providing 2 yrs global warranty.

1 thing I realize, their customer service do not being helpful at all (US side).

Am I getting a VAIO without any proper warranty by the time I bring back to M'sia? It's total madness!!!

Was using my CS36GJ model just now, loud noise came from the upper left part of the laptop......the area where the ventilating fans are.....

And more vigorous vibration can be felt from that area.......

The laptop can still be used normally but the noise is freaking me out.....
The condition continued for a few minutes then only returned back to normal.......

I wonder what prob can this be??? HDD??? Or the fan???Or anything else???

By the way, I also realized that the CPU usage % is up to 60-80% all the time, eventhough I didn't open any applications......

Just wanna know if any CS model user has experience the same problem as me before.....

Hey guys, i plan to get a sony vaio lap top before this christmas.
My budget is 5k{maximun} including extended warranty.
i will be using my lap top for music, watching some music video,dvd"s, playing a bit of games,surfing the net and doing some school projects.
I was considering going for the vaio fw55 which is rm4499 and an additional rm430 for extended warranty.
is the specs in this lap top good ?
are there any other models that you"ll recommend me that is within 5k?
by the way, i heard that the older models of the sony vaio had some problems,example- problems with the lcd and the hard drive{making some loud noise},and some models encounted overheating problems. Does this still happen to the new models now ?
is it worth buying sony vaio lap tops ?
i dont want to regreat after buying it.

Sorry to interrupt here, a fren of mine who is a CS owner, her lappy juz kaput (can turn on) after 2 weeks expiry of the warranty period, anyway can she ask for assist?

I heard SONY offer 3months extended warranty for CS owner, is that true?

She been sent in her lappy in the past 1 yr for more than 3 times, and her lappy still not running in proper condition.
