why u guys like diesel? petrol price nearly the same only now, between diesel and ron95. not much savings also right?

and for the cvt and turbocore, i'm hoping the turbocore will make it more powerful, hence indirectly you wont punch on the fuel pedal so much and save some petrol, and with cvt, same alittle more, e.g. 4%.

Diesel can go a heck lot more mileage per litre i think....just check out the fuel consumption of some of the newer diesel cars......makes hyrid looks pointless......CVT doesn't do much to save fuel, just smooth power delivery.

Diesel powerplant punch more torque (Nm) so the pulling power is there. Not to mentioned if diesel turbo 1.6 at low rpm torque it would be insane on Exora!

I have seen a few workshops installing turbo for Exora ... sounds like Exora 1.6 CPS Campro is so "boostable" that it's easy to boost up to around 170-200 hp...

Sounds promising to me since 190 hp is already more powerful than BMW 3-series M-sport (2.0 lt) and Camry 2.4 lt. No need to wait for the official Proton turbo.

Anyone tried the turbokit on Exora themselves ?

I own exora and for my point of view, exora price as a mpv car is very reasonable and the space inside is very big and comfortable for the passenger at the back and also at the front. The outside look is promising and nice especially with the attach of new full skirting. The condition of the aircond also are very good and now my wife and my kids never complain about them feel hot. For the petrol use, I think it is quite high but i guess it will be the same to other mpv cars. However, i have a hard time with this exora when the gas of the aircond suddenly empty because one of the screw near to the radiator is loose. Need to pay RM100 just to fill in back the gas and it happened after 4 month. So for the new buyers who are interest to buy exora u need to inspect back your car at the nearest service center mostly for the aircond screw before it screwed u...many of my cousin complain and not sure with the quality of proton cars, but for me it is reach my standard and i'm very glad i take this car then grand livina which is smaller than exora. You guys out there, don't listen to a person who only know to criticize but don't own this car...only speak with his personal theory will not give the best information about this exora..you need to try it first then after that u can give ur comment...smile.gif tq...

for me, exora on the highway road are very steady and fast. I can feel the power every time I press the peddle and speed up my car. I use to drive gen 2 and the feel are no different with that car. But the only minor problem, this car will feel heavy when going uphill road and if u not speed up from the start u will end up with slow speed when u reach the high road but still can use gear 3. I dunno how about another cars because I only use to drive old toyota LE and proton cars, saga and exora. As for my point of view, Exora is not under power even the body are bigger than the engine capacity.

im guessing the price for the turbo exora will be around 80k - 90k?
