you could get a sports-catcon but its really expensive. Its true though one of the easiest way to gain power is to do away with the catcon.

The easiest way is actually strip everything out. No cost added too. Can lessen all the weight and gain instant results. But it's a MPV, so decat can actually increase the torque ? or is it the Hp ? dun think Exora needs the Hp though.

depends on the setup. mostly u get more hp out. might lose low end torque. im not sure bout this.

If low end torque is lost (lets say ure right xshiro), then what;s the point when we are trying to even the torque dip (slow pickup) ?? lol

How about asking Campro engine owners here? I dont think it's modding just stops on changing the exhaust only. I dont own a Campro CPS and i am not sure. One thing i am sure is all decats will polute.

decat is actually to reduce the restriction and better flow. can use aftermarket cat-con but sure expensive la especially the stainless steel type. can get ceramic type if u really concerns bout environment.

But i think, most modders would choose for the cheaper alternative since it does not boost the hp even by using a better or more expensive aftermarket cat-con lol.

just had our family 1st proton yesterday, all way down to JB today

sonic's wish is powered by 2.0 D-4 engine that has 155hp one... compare to Exora 125hp of course he felt underpowered la!! LOL

so sonic should wait for 2010 1.6L 150bhp, 240Nm Exora turbo then..

saw 4 exora on north south highway in the same day..

Open pod looks like too much.will make more fuel consumption. Maybe can try performance drop-in filter like K&N.

i'm driving gen2 campro.
value for money modification will be 4-2-1 extractor (indirectly remove the catcon) and drop-in filter. u can feel the different.

btw, exora seems bulky from the back..encountered 1 directly on its rear.
