The Exora automatic gear will kick down one gear if you press the accelerator hard. If you press gradually,it wont kick down hence you will find the car to be sluggish especially with full load.

From the video boyy2k engaged the "L"gear and the speed was limited to 50km/h despte revving at 6000rpm. He should have changed to gear 3 to gain more speed.

Whatever it is, the design and comfort sucks oh wai.....the price. nvm.

Even though I don't like China Made Car but I bet they're slightly better than Proton Cars.

I can say that proton quality control is totally horrible.

Gen2 the worst car ever made by Malaysian. Malaysia politician know nuts about automobile industry. They produce cheapskate car with the worst quality material. I don't know why proton keep on scamming the citizen of Malaysia. They been cheating Malaysian for 10 over years. Now they bribe TUV to prove to the nation. TUV is nothing, the quality of the material in proton car still NO quality and cheap. Durability fail.

I can't believe proton have the balls to beg with VW as partners just to enter SEA market. VW gona lose lots of customer with the defect produce by Proton aka Malaysian hand. Proton QC is worst than China QC.

Gen2 is a total failure. Campro engine and 16v cam with out a pro. What kind of engine is it. Only dumb fools will get it.

i got mine two weeks ago...

today go SC and change 1 hose not sure what  ... the hose clips not holding well according to the guy there... but they changed the hose as well as adding a screw type hose holding thing...

now almost 500km ... want to clock it to 1k this weekend so,  can service before cuti sekolah holiday.. 
my personal view ...  it is a good car (because i own one  ) ,  pickup wise on flat road... OK....    moving from standtill on a slope, kind of feel a little heavy...  but then ... nothing much to complaint...  in one whole year, i would only be driving on a hilly road condition not much than 2% of total driving..  i don't know what's the fuss is all about...

if they instal turbo,
evry tom d*** and harry and sohais with campro engine will want to take that turbo and install it on thier car thus increasing the number of sohais on the road

from stand still it can smoke a 1.8 Nabira. can climb BT Antarabangsa if u go up the hill thru MRR2 after the Esso.

D drive work fine. i do shift the gear 1 by 1 till L. U had to press the pedal to the metal to make it work,like other auto transmission.

but i notice under 2K RPM not so responsive but when it open the valve.. it go wild.

i've test drive RUSH.. from stand still... hmmm not worth

what do u mean by de-cat?

The easiest way is actually strip everything out. No cost added too. Can lessen all the weight and gain instant results.   But it's a MPV, so decat can actually increase the torque ? or is it the Hp ? dun think Exora needs the Hp though.

How about asking Campro engine owners here? I dont think it's modding just stops on changing the exhaust only. I dont own a Campro CPS and i am not sure. One thing i am sure is all decats will polute.

it was a combination of the robust 4-link coil spring and the rigid axle that somehow contribute to the bumpy(or responsive    ) ride at the rear.
the trick is; put as much people at the back and the ride will be less bouncy 
the good thing with Avanza; it's a rwd.

btw, when will Proton find a solution for the power hungry air-con on Campro variant?
