excellent thread related to this issue.

i like this quote - "would you rather have a bunch of internet guys agree with you and most people you meet in everyday real life not like what you're wearing?"

i just lurk there to read on ideas only... deep down inside i'm just a practical guy who likes well made stuff and sometimes buy them if can afford. occasionally a brand snob... but sometimes have to take a step back and use the head instead of the heart smile.gif

If you need cheap cufflinks, you can get them from MyTieShop which I think is selling them for around RM40? If you'll need anything cheaper, you can search in Petaling Street where traders there sell dirt-cheap cufflinks that are made in China. Do haggle though, else they'll charge you the "foreign waterfish price". wink.gif

they've given great suggestions. mytieshop does sell at good prices. u can always get roughly the same design and quality from this shop and also from parkson/isetan/jusco if u do some searching and compare with places like raoul.

of course cheapest are silk knots and quite elegant too.

I've actually not seen anyone wearing silk knots before. From what I've seen in my workplace (and among colleagues in the same profession), double cuff shirts are quite common and are always paired with cufflinks. But personally, I prefer single cuff shirts just for the comfort factor. Also, the fold at the double cuff tends to get dirty easily.

Not to mention elegant while being minimalistic and probably cheap as well if the knot is made of polyester instead of real silk.

Seems that there are a lot of discussions regarding cufflinks and french cuff shirts in here. Jin, might you be merging this thread with the existing Cufflink and French Cuff Shirt thread?

idk single cuffs just feel weird for cufflinks, feels like their not able to support the cufflinks properly lol.. double cuff for me when it comes to linked cuff..

Sadly, Cuffz' current monthly promotion isn't that attractive: 2 Premium Shirt + 1 pair Cufflinks for RM399

Certain cufflinks are poorly made. Quality and finishing looks absolutely third world made. For that price, one would better spend it at Isetan or Parkson.

I bought one of those a few weeks ago at RM150 (after). Original price was RM300 I think. It falls at the low end of imported shirts but the quality is fairly decent. The Italian styled collar was a change for me. Never had one of those before smile.gif

The collar looks like this:-

Notice the double button.

PS: Don't "google image" "Figlio". The results are undesirable wink.gif
