Hey, i wonder do u guys full use the E71? Do u guy use Internet Call function on the E71??

is there anyway i can send auto sms on selected time/date (schedule) via nokia E71 itself without 3rd party software?

Going to join E71 community within this few days.

Can anyone recommends whether Zitron or Avaxx is better ? and should I let the phone reseller to install garmin for me or I install it myself will be better ? ( I have no idea on installing but I'll spend time on it if it's better to install myself )

For garmin, you can install it yourself actually..its not that hard..unless you have money to burn, let the phone seller install it for you..

Yes.. We use frings to do internet call.. As it allow us to do skype calls and frings calls.. Plus e71 is not jus bout internet cals.. It bout road warrior who type on the go.. The qwerty keypad is for the typing.. And i enjoy it.. Replying from my e71 now..

it's regarding the camera function. apparently, the new software improves the camera function drastically.

anybody thinking of updating their phone should prolly do a before and after camera test.

i think there's no auto sms function for the e71.

bro, would suggest u to install yourself, u can pm me and ask me how to INSTALL Zitron or Avaxx is basically the same, since both phone they selling are original phone.. i just got two more e71, and it's under AVAXX..

Fring? i had used fring before too.. But it's not stable, don't u think so?? I've tried Fring on my HTC P3452, e63, e51, 5800XM and my e71... all those call will cut off itself for no reason, and the software are kinda hang on my HTC's PDA.
I had been using the E71 since the day it released on Malaysia, yup ! i must agree the e71 is very good in messaging and typing due to its QWERTY keypad..

btw, i don't use fring for internet call.. since it will drop the call itself & hang.. I'm using AVIOcall for internet call ,one time setting on phone and ready to go ! since it's free option that included in all in one package, and i heard from fren it's a malaysia based company.. so far i don't have problem with this internet call provider.. check out my sig for more info

after upgraded to .012 firmware.... i don't see any improvement on the camera snapping..

i took a pic at a rather dimmed condition..

and the noise is ridiculous~~

i am getting this problem with my nokia email. Last time I setup using messaging but it setup my nokia email. (i know already now, just cancel when it ask connect automatic server thing) anyway, i deleted my nokia email's mailbox and ever since that i cannot setup the nokia email anymore. i get the 'cannot connect to server' error. I even tried uninstall and reinstall the nokia email app but still same problem. anyone else having this problem with nokia email?

Guys,can anybody who have upgraded to latest firmare v300 verify this > under app manager, there are 2 entry for nokia email?

my phone flickers on the higlighted area when i scroll down the contacts menu.... theni upgraded the firmware last night, it's gone. anybody experiencing this problem? sometimes my screen will blink/flicker

sometimes i notice the phone light blinking (I set notification to 5 min) although there's no missed call or sms or calender event or whatever. Why is it so?

Thats the breathing light...if u carefully notice, when theres a missed call or msg..it will blink faster!

Breathing light? Umm, is that necessary? coz my battery finishes very fast, like less than 2 days although i only use like sending 5-10 sms and 2 calls and morning alarm between charges everytime. how do i disable it?

bro, i think better you bring ur phone back to nokia SC to check the battery, or either some application is running on ur backgorund and seriously draining ur battery.

i think someone here mentioned that there is an application from nokia which can check ur battery consumption. try that and see
