Anyone using Golla bags or sleeves? Are they good as in... solid or "protective" enough?

I plan to get a Speck satin casing for my MBP, so this sleeve is just to top it up. Backpacks/sling bags I already have... (those get free from other old laptops blush.gif )

Ive gone through golla backpacks before and it seems that its ok for normal usage but if you want it to protect your macbook from rough conditions then maybe its not really suitable as the padding i find it not really enough for my preference of protection. It depends on you. You can go search around and get a feel before buying them.

Im using the black speck satin for my MBP with alienware orion backpack =) Very nice combo =)

Yeah I notice Golla is the soft but thick kind.. which might not suit my sometimes rough usage too.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll go scouting around for a bit. laugh.gif

Np maybe you can try searching for those meant for rough sports such as bikers backpacks etc... There are more rugged and tough built... and of course water proof =)

Why bag are not made waterproof? Many of those sports back are made waterproof and most of the backpacking bags are waterproof. Some provide another waterproof cover just to cover the bag. So there are many bags that are waterproof.

Yea why not.... Apple doesnt have a suitable brand that specifically use for apple products.. Its up to users preference for the design and details. All laptop backpacks are suitable for any laptops including apple... =) Yeah Lowyat should have and maybe some of the apple stores does bring in targus backpacks too..

If you take it that way then I have nothing so say. People would understand waterproof backpacks are meant to use when they got caught in the rain/got water spills etc and not dropping your backpack 10 feet inside the water.

Actually I'm seeking for a nice n reliable back for my 13" .

I need something which can fit in my laptop and another compartment where I can put some of my stuffs.. Because I always travel outstation for 1-2 days, so I might need to put some stuffs into that compartment... Is Crumpler the only choice for this?? smile.gif

@th3_glove20,
There are many other options out there; there's Samsonite, Targus, etc.
