I need something which can fit in my laptop and another compartment where I can put some of my stuffs.. Because I always travel outstation for 1-2 days, so I might need to put some stuffs into that compartment... Is Crumpler the only choice for this?? -glove20 |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ May 13 2010, 08:26 AM) Yeap 2nd choice will be Samsonite, but I realize their design is too plain... I used to use Targus before Mac, but I sold it off it's meant for 15.4" *too big* |

Very spacious
It might look a lil weird if I carry this size with my luggage Actually the size of Samsonite is just nice but the design is a lil too plain for me.. |

Might be using my MS sidewinder as an external keyboard then no need of the keyboard protector already =)... Good choice to leave it "nekked" it will look much more sexier, but my concern is the scratches on my notebook *tak tahan* if Im bored with my speck casing I think Ill end up using my MBP naked... haha... Dont think ill use other casings.. Actually I'm considering buying the anti-scratch film... How many % protected? 99%? Well I can show you the pic.. Please PM me... |

dvlzplayground- Thanks sharing...Yeap I afraid the dust might get stuck at the side.. On top of that what I was asking earlier how natural will you MBP look like after sticking with IS? As we can see from the 1st pic the reflection can tell there is a layer of film on the surface...
That's why I tend to pull back a little as the price is not cheap as well.. But is always looks better with "nekked" QUOTE(static @ May 15 2010, 03:27 PM) The IS looks damn nice! But i am using Speck casing already, and I don't usually bring out my MB out from the house. I bought cooler balls to put underneath the MB to alleviate it heehee I feel bored with my Speck(yellow) as well, not sure which casing to buy mostly they look the same...How much you bought your support cooler balls?? I'm using one for myself as well... QUOTE(realpesky @ May 15 2010, 03:31 PM) the laptop is nicer without anything. haha.. just use a sleeve when you're bringing it somewhere and take care of it so that there will be no scratches. just my opinion though. But accident do happen bro... No matter how careful you are... |

QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ May 16 2010, 11:09 PM) Yeap the IS tends to turn yellow when it gets a lot of heat =)... And yea dust will tend to stick at the edges... Same problem as my iPhone but of course my iPhone is far worse cause I bring it everywhere =) So its still up to you guys... But of course it does looks good as though as its naked but with protection =).. I did wrap my previous SE phone with those visible film as well*by those HP shop* So far still ok... But I'm little ermmm... with the glossy part on my notebook after sticking the film (IS).. Yea accident does happen but of course we still have to be careful... =)... Like my iPhone I think i dropped it only about less than 5 times for 2 years now... Touchwood la of course... =) So far I haven't see any nice case yet oso.. QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ May 17 2010, 12:10 PM) I know there are a few nice casing like the incipio but doesnt really suit my preference and also expensive... So I would prefer to get a good backpack or sleeve and a normal average looking casing that protects it from scratches... Will definitely use it naked after some time... Yea saw some from Incipio website.. Personally I find it not much different from Specks... I agree with you tarvalslain87..That's is quite hard to get a nice casing/bag out there... QUOTE(Ojimaru @ May 17 2010, 12:39 PM) Going back to the dust issue of Invisi Shields, does anybody have any experience of similar problems with Gelaskins or similar? Is Gelaskins another type of film? QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ May 17 2010, 12:43 PM) Hmm... If we think logically, I think other than IS, those which is similar with IS (some sort of a sticker type) would have edges of the sticky part right? So my guess would be after a long period of usage, dust will also be collected... Dust particles are small and when it accumulates.. Then you will get to see them.. Of course location of usage does contributes to the dust collection Can prevent your laptop from scratches but now we face dust problem & yellowish part... |

QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ May 17 2010, 01:26 PM) Gelaskin is some sort of those design stickers that you stick on your laptops... Umm nothing is perfect right? haha... So if we can afford it, when your shield gets too much dust collected, then we should change them... Its normal that things gets worn out and we need to find a replacement =) If not there wont be business/profit for those companies if it can make a product that lasts forever.. Haha That's true nothing can last forever Well let's see how it goes, bcos I'm still looking for a proper case for 13" MBP... So far nth special mostly are about the same Specks Hopefully I get some advice from here... |

QUOTE(Ojimaru @ May 17 2010, 04:27 PM) That works except if you're like me and have the artistic tendencies of an elephant with chronic diarrhoea. Cooool design However, when applied with proper talent, you'll get something awesome. Like this... Is that the visible Specks with spray graffiti |
