@jind86 & arshad,
I wouldn't recommend a sling / carry case for laptop + charger + books cause it'll get too heavy. It will definitely take a toll on the person who's carrying it.

I recommend either the backpack version or the "air stewardess" looks; those cabin luggage look alike with wheels biggrin.gif

Personally, I use these 2:

Crumpler: The King Single

Targus: Elegant Leather Tote

@jind86,
I use both and the Sling takes a toll on the shoulders; the backpack is supported by the back so it's easier but you're definitely right about the sling back looking better than the backpack.

PS: I've several Associates in very high powered positions who uses a backpack and the reason we do that is because the sling backs just take a toll on us tongue.gif Guess we're just getting old.

@jind86,
... but James Bond is NOT real! tongue.gif I think one should get a bag for practicality; very well if it looks good but I think practicality should take priority tongue.gif

@cRazYee,
That's pretty expensive! But well.. if one's a fashionista, Y not? biggrin.gif

@neekun,
If ur intending to get a Crumpler, see if U can get an overseas visitor to go with U to KLCC cause with their foreign passport, they're entitled this tourist discount of 10% at the KLCC Crumpler store.

I love my Crumpler so much, I don't take it overseas with me for fear it'll get dirty or torn tongue.gif

@nimrod323,
I sure wasn't aware Crumpler bags had lifetime warranty. Targus, does have warranty but I don't remember if it's lifetime or not.

@keccik,
I'm not afraid of my Crumpler getting torn; I'm afraid of err dirtying it or something lah; just don't want to damage it - I try not to even put my Crumpler on the floor! hAHahAHhaHAHa... it's a bag I take care of v well tongue.gif

@neekun,
I just gave Crumpler KLCC a call - no discount leh. Let me know if and when U can find that forummer keccik mentioned biggrin.gif

@llsphinxll,
According to the foodshop.com website, the postage charges aren't combine-able; that sux I know cause we were both hoping to save on shipping. Haven't heard of fabrix but am checking out their website as I type this; looks quite nice but am not too sure about the padding; and I don't like the velcro thingy *grins*

And, it's sis tongue.gif

PS: I just checked out the website; it's not cheap there either. For the kinda price, I prefer to go with foofshop.com smile.gif

@llsphinxll,
Yup not cheap but in paying the same prices, I rather get something of quality than something er customised. Looks like I've to visit PC Fair to see if there are any good deals on sleeves available tongue.gif

@Kernkraft400,
I've a friend using a Samsonite and she's loving it; you're right it does get a bit pricey. I've also seen them at luggage shops; Wings.

@terencetoo,
Am not sure if it's cheaper; probably about the same price but Parkson does give u back RM10 vouchers for RM120 spend [or was it RM150] so if u take that into account it should be cheaper *smiles*

@terencetoo,
There's quite a lot of options out there if u really take the trouble and time to look at it; in fact, there are more choices available in Singapore *grins*

I do check out the Apple stores but rarely purchase from them. I currently use a Crumpler King Single & a Targus Leather Tote; both of which are about RM400-500 each when I purchased them.

@air,
Check with nimrod323 if he still has the Colcasac available from his last bulk order thread.

@=Hanxz=,
I got it because no one else would have it here in KL; or at least few people and now you decide to bring in bulk tongue.gif So, should I leave a good review [so that no one will purchase it] or tell the truth?! *LOL*

Anyhow the foofbag's pretty value for $ at RM139 if you ask me [that's =Hanxz='s price right?!] and I'm definitely loving mine - thought i haven't been out much hence haven't had the chance to use it much.

As to those wanting to consider the foodpod, do re-consider again; I don't quite like it because:-
# it's too tight fitting
# its internal wool keeps heat on the phone

@static & Kernkraft400,
No! The foof will NOT fit the Speck case; in order to use the foof, take out the Speck case biggrin.gif
