I was thinking of getting a speck see thru satin for my coming MBP 15".... Do I really need another sleeve to protect it? I have a backpack for it... All apple accessories are expensive so need to see its functionality wise... =(

I doubt it will break easily unless you take it off from your macbook... I saw the review on facebook.. Looks cool and solid for me... Im definitely getting that one as its cheaper.. I also thought of using incipio but alot more expensive.. =(
Yea I guess backpack should be enough with my speck casing... Should be bringing my backpack wherever I go with all my notes and stuff xD |

Agreed... But i saw a review in one of the youtube videos... He tried putting the speck see thru satin already then try it on with 3 or 4 different sleeves... I remember one of them couldnt fit if you have speck see thru satin on already... So anyone who is buying the speck, need to make sure if want to use sleeve get a bigger one =d

Maybe you could purchase another type of sleeves that you can use as a notebook pad if you know what i mean if you dont wanna dirty your foof sleeve =)(like a mouse on the mousepad)
In order to avoid scratches, yea you need to get something to shield it... Maybe you can try searching for those shield that can be cut into any shape and only get it for the btm of your mac... Not sure is there anything like that or not but I know for Phones they do have the self cut screen protector.. Maybe can look up more on that |

Im just afraid that after a period of time, it will tend to turn yellow and start to collect all those dusts/dirts at the edges of the shield... I took it off already cause its getting uglier as it became yellow (my iphone is white in colour which makes it obvious). But its up to you.. Im just telling what I have experience =D... Shouldnt be a problem if you just stick it at the bottom as no one going to see under there... =D and use the top for other gadgets..

Yea maybe, the reason it turned yellow is because of the heat.... Nvm after 1 year or so when dust starting to look ugly just change the protector and get another one =D...

Moshi guard will definitely not rubbery.. My gf macbook white has it on... Its smooth... =D Dont know how to explain haha.. But better compared to IS for me...
Applying no need worry wan.. Just dont spray too much and also get ready a hair dryer once you aligned it correctly blow the hair dryer and it will be dry soon... Yea you have to wait around 24 hours for all the solutions to be gone.. Last time even 24 hours also on my iphone still got bubbles.. But after 1 month only gone @@ maybe didnt apply that good qua.. Haha |

Oh you need to order it from US only could get the 50%... Hmm if wiraone calculated correctly... I think purchasing from garage sales would be a better option as we can recieve the item faster and cheaper compared to bulking... Added on April 21, 2010, 11:21 amI already ordered speck see thru case and moshi palmguard for my MBP... Now my MBP will be naked for a few days before its clothes comes! =D This post has been edited by tarvalslain87: Apr 21 2010, 11:21 AM |

Thats why I said its kind of impossible to get RM50 with all the cost included... Maybe we could get cheaper by 10-20% but not as much as 50% for bulking

Oh I dont recommend bodyguardz.... Ive tried IS with BG on my iphone and my gf's iphone... IS definitely better in terms of quality of the protector, the cutting of the protector and also easy to apply for IS but not for BG... So I dont recommend it..
