From what bro BRY7 said about it, the quality is terrible.

I did check the product out when I was at MacStudio but didn't fancy it. Plus, they only have the non-matte version which is prone to scratches.

Haha. Yes. Red looks awesome too but must be dark / blood / maroon red.

At first I thought the bubblegum colour looked red from afar and was quite excited but after looking closer it's actually light pink.

putting on the speck case will reduce the heat transfer of macbook? since it covers the whole aluminium body with the cover... just wondering

Yes, it certainly will but it's not too bad on the MacBook Pro Retina Display since there are dedicated dual air-intake inlets and a single dedicated exhaust outlet. The cMBP has the same design minus the dual air-intake inlets so it should be alright as well.

If you are on MacBook Air, then definitely not recommended as there are no air intake / exhaust ports. I did put Speck on my MacBook Air 13" before and it heated up considerably. Not recommended unless you are in aircon environment most of the time or you really want to take care of your MacBook Air like a baby.

yea, actually im not really concern about heat stuck due to casing cause there is intake unless you play very graphic intense game la.
