For those having problems, are you using OpenDNS? It might be worth trying to use Streamyx DNS temporarily and restart everything and see if there is a difference.

There appears to be a lag to OpenDNS via certain connections eg alter.net. currently This may be causing issues. You may try by seeing if you can access www.opendns.com at normal speed or not.

Where have you been bro? It WAS AND STILL NEVER a cable problem.

It was TMNUT internal network infrastructure routing FUCUK UP since day 1, they try to cover it up with excuses until some engineer revealed it on local blog.

THE CABLE IS FINE, TMNUT IS FUCUKED THOUGH.

Internal routing problem = TMNUT incompetence.

Was disconnected just now, took roughly 10 mins to get back in. Only started these few days, b4 that my line is very stable rarely disconnected. I thought the issue was gone as my line didn't disconnect at all today until now.

yeah i think so too after reading some previous pages. BTW, a neigbour of mine are using the 4 mbps line and they are not experiencing any 'significant' prblems at all. I mean they can still log on to their msn and play WoW as well.. btw im using the 1.5 mbps line sad.gif

Its all cover up, there is NO faulty cables or whatsoever. Since the 56k days, TM have came out with reasons like that, blaming others for the problems. Instead of solving the issue day by day, they created more problems within problems, slapping brainless terms and conditions and horrible customer support as their escape route from angry customers.

I bet the next step TM is moving into is on blaming the household account holders for the bottleneck of the internet during peak hours and weekends.
