What did you do before that happen? Did you tether your iPhone over USB? Or did you recently change RAM? Install anything?

you might want to provide more info. What machine you are using? Which version of OS?

exFAT is only supported from 10.6.4 onwards. Have you try repair the drive?

maybe you want to try these:
- Format into HFS+ and enable read/write on Windows with MacDrive. Or,
- Format into NTFS and enable read/write on Mac OSX with Paragon NTFS/ NTFS 3G/ Tuxera NTFS.

I have limited experience with exFAT, maybe the support in Mac OSX is still immature. have you try sending email to Apple or call AppleCare? If it's a bug, Apple should aware about this.

There are few ways:
- Look for another Mac that's running the same version of Mac OSX then copy the Photobooth over. Or ask someone to email to you. On 10.6.7 it's a 3.6MB file only.
- Do a archive and install with your restore DVD. But be sure you have a backup and or timemachine for you Mac.
- Dig inside the installer with editor tool to copy the Photobooth.app (not suggested if you are not savvy enough).

do a reset PRAM should cure the issue. You will need a USB keyboard to perform that. Press CMD + Option + P + R until you hear second startup chime.

This usually happen when overpower/ problematic USB device was plug in before the last startup.

Did you hear the second chime? You have to press the key and hold before you power on the unit.

If reset PRAM doesn't solve it, it might be the IPD board or cable that's gone faulty.

It will definitely take a week of it is VR.

You will need to place a small magnet near the lower side of the Fn key on the left.

That works for non-unibody MacBook. But the location are more or less around the area. Just maybe at opposite side. When the magnet hit the right spot. The sleep LED will turn on. If you leave the magnet for a moment, the Mac will go to sleep. Just wake up the Mac again while leaving the magnet on will keep the internal display off.

Hi, the dust cover is part of the top case. I haven't seen any repair tech note from Apple on replacing the clothe alone. You might want to try calling service center.

Depends how bad it is, most of the time it's just the adhesive is not strong to hold the clothe anymore. Re-apply fresh adhesive might solve the problem.

The feet are not replaceable if broken. Call AppleCare if your unit still in warranty.

Unless you can find a donor or replicate the clothe somehow. I think the clothe is a small matter. Just protect the Mac with pouch or something when carry around to avoid dust or things get in.

Error -36 is I/O Error. Can be multiple reason:
Bad casing
Bad cable
Bad drive
Unsupported formatting or formatting error
Low power

I suggest you try other drive, cable or casing.

There are 2 way of counter low power:
- Plug in charger if yours is portable.
- Plug in 2nd USB by using Y USB cable.

If you can't even get it done with all the guides, you better think of other ways of transferring. Networking might be as simple as plug and play, but it can also be complicated mess as few days of professional diagnosis.

Does the PC & Mac have wifi? You can't get hold of a external drive? Or bigger thumb drive?

You need to use cross cable. That's the very first mistake many did.

Only unibody model can take 1TB.

I haven't seen 750GB except Apple CTO. You can easily find 640GB in Lowyat.
