hey, just realised something. there's validity date for the existing Hotlink members only.. there isnt any for the Non-Hotlink member (see the pic above)..

hmm.. weird~ does it mean we can still apply? i mean for those NOn-Hotlink people...  hmm.gif
*
regarding the due date,
i guess for existing normal hotlink customer, u can convert it for FREE until 1 May....

after 1 may, u still can convert BUT with some fees...

i hope its like that...becoz i just change my mom hotlinks to my name....this monday i wanna register my 2nd hotlink youth club...hehe...

Hotlink and their marketting gimmicks ..trying to confuse people...
damn it!!! Why they didn't mention the due date in the terms & conditions page or FAQ page in the 1st place???
and i still don't get the whole point of introducing tis if there's a due date ??
*
yup. why dont put in terms & conditions page or FAQ page ? that is important.

that mean due date at 1 may is due date for 'free' convertion , not the due date for close for convertion.. ? dey make user blur again. why not state clearly...

QUOTE(kiddo17 @ May 2 2009, 12:41 PM)
what is the eligible age for registering myc?

i heard celcom is only for 18-26.

but then how bout maxis?

because my younger sister wants to activate her simcard too.
but she's only 15...how yea?
*
Celcom got 2 type of Youth Plan.. And thats University of X (UOX) and School of X (SOX)..
For those aged 18-26 are eligible for the UOX plan..
For those aged 13-18 are eligible for the SOX plan..
Anyway, just buy either of the plan if the applicant's age is between 13-26yrs coz it'll automatically switch plan..
Coz I bought UOX when I was 17 then the Celcom Webcare displayed my plan as SOX..
Hope this helps.. smile.gif

but if happen to be existing customer only can convert before 1 May....
just port out your hotlink to digi/celcom for temporary period....
& then port back to hotlink saying you want youth club... becoz the column "Hurry, Limited Period from 1 April to 1 May 2009 only" only applicable at "Existing Hotlink customer"... brows.gif

if they dont allow we can saman them aaa ? wrong info to customer perhaps...

called the Hotlink shop at my campus.. the shop owner says it's still available for us to convert to..

but too bad, i just switch to postpaid at 5th Jan 2009 and there's a 6 month contract.. cant simply change to prepaid..

damn~~ vmad.gif

the only choice is to buy a new sim card, i guess.. But, dont want to sacrifice my number.. personally think it's a nice number.. grr.. vmad.gif

EDIT: contact --> contract

u register postpaid with contract or without contract ??

but if u initially convert hotlink to postpaid maxis, the standard wait time allowable to convert to hotlink back is 6 months... as i said, u can port to other prepaid no problem..& then convert back to hotlink laa..

But, just now i called Helpline, asking this coming monday can i go Maxis Center to switch to HOtlink.. Then, she say kenot.. cuz got minimum 6 months contract to use this postpaid.. rclxub.gif

Anyways, will giv it a try to change to DiGi prepaid..

wait till hotlink announce how much must pay if wanna convert from normal hotlink to youthpack...
but i dont really understand why hotlink wanna impose a fee becoz this is meant for student...if they really want to compete with uox/sox they shouldnt impose any charge...
