i am using Maxis Postpaid, sub my dad's line.. so friggin expensive, if u're a heavy sms-er..

Called Helpline just now and asked whether after the plan registration validity, I can still subscribe this Youth Club plan or nt..

What the operator says is that i got to go to Maxis Center to covert to prepaid.. then only they will check whether i'm eligible for this Youth Club or nt..

Maxis Center will only be available at MOnday.. BUt i got to go back my college ler.. How to convert? Dang~~

i called the hotlink helpline. 1300 82 0120..

they say HOtlink Youth Club not available anymore..

Nothing can be done anymore, if u happened to miss out the promotion..

hey, just realised something. there's validity date for the existing Hotlink members only.. there isnt any for the Non-Hotlink member (see the pic above)..

hmm.. weird~ does it mean we can still apply? i mean for those NOn-Hotlink people...

called the Hotlink shop at my campus.. the shop owner says it's still available for us to convert to..

but too bad, i just switch to postpaid at 5th Jan 2009 and there's a 6 month contract.. cant simply change to prepaid..

damn~~

the only choice is to buy a new sim card, i guess.. But, dont want to sacrifice my number.. personally think it's a nice number.. grr..

means i go to a DiGi shop then convert to DiGi prepaid? then switch to Hotlink?

maxis will allow? will they fine me for not following the contract?

with contract.. eg: Maxis-150 with iPhone 3G for 2 years.. isnt it?

if it is so, then NO lar..

laz time i switch frm DiGi prepaid to HOtlink.. Then use HOtlink one day, then switch to my mum's subline. that's all. So, my number now is under my mum's name. and btw didnt take any of their phone.

But, just now i called Helpline, asking this coming monday can i go Maxis Center to switch to HOtlink.. Then, she say kenot.. cuz got minimum 6 months contract to use this postpaid..

Anyways, will giv it a try to change to DiGi prepaid..

Received sms from Hotlink today.. and I'm in!!

For my case, I bought a new normal HOtlink sim card at last SUnday.. cuz that time HYC number all damn lousy and chose the better number, which is not HYC plan.. Then, applied to convert at my college's Hotlink shop at Monday.. Then , approved today (Thurs)..

Yes!! Right at those operators' face who keep telling "the promotion is over.. cant switch anyone.. nothing can be done, sir.."

It took 2 or 3 days for Inti HOtlink Shop to process your account..

I think you better register somewhere else leh.. Cuz lots Inti student not satisfied with the reload Rm30 then only can apply
policy.. they claimed it's cheating.. they make the problem till so serious over here..

yea.. i also used Normal Plan for few days (less than a week), then i'm converted into HYC ady..

For my case, (if u dont mind hear my long *grandmother* story.. )
i using subline postpaid (so darn expensive to contact other network; sms-15sen call-20sen/min), wan change to HYC, but got 6 month min postpaid usage contract.. cant change till July09.. then, planned to grab a HYC new sim pack. But, all the number not nice one.. saw a Hotlink Normal Sim Card (number ok lor), bought and used normal plan for few days, then paid rm30 to reload and applied at my college's dealer, then 2 or 3 days later, received sms.. Kao tim!!

now it's till 2013.. using this number (with spare phone) to call other network only.. and found it so hard to fast fast spend the credit.. haha.. not lansi-ing anyone ar.. =P still using my postpaid line as my main line..

i got a HYC number, under my name.

then, if i wan to sell to another person and dun wish to go to maxis center to change ownership, (means the buyer still use the number under my name)

can i do a not-official agreement (computer typed and print on a4 paper)? Saying if the number is misused, the blame will not go to me, but to the buyer (buyer's name and ic will be included in agreement)..

is it ok to do so?

so, IF it really happened that the number is used to commit crime and police finds the owner, which is me, will this contact be effective?

visiting maxis center is the only way then.. aih.. ><

went to see juz now. only got D'Campus wor..

call rates are 15sen/min (12sen Maxis-maxis for HYC), (same, call to other network)
1sen/sms DG-DG (same),
6sen DG-Other(more expensive than HYC).

But this one got free sms to 11 ppl on SAME network only. (smth like Friends and Family, i think)

got better? u judge lor.

they charged u air time when u call them..

DiGi customer helpline is free..

Why Maxis so realistic wor?

SO, my point: fast fast talk, fast fast settle yur things when u try to get the HYC.

dont tink so.

For maxis,

postpaid change name = Rm50
prepaid change name = free

i tink DiGi should be the same lar.

and yes! all credit will be 'cleared'.
