sad to hear that. You can give it a water tray. With water tray, you dont need to water it every day lor... Good for lazy people like me.

Sigh.. 2nd attempt on uprotting one of the Adelae to plant in on another pot, with bottom layer peat moss & upper layer with spagnum moss.
After 3 weeks+ times, it show's sign of decaying, i guess it just won't work on me on this. No symptom of dehydrate.

On a side note, my 2nd attempt of propagating through leaf cutting is very successful, it sprout out many little plantlets.

There is high quality and low quality spagnum moss. Those from china can get it from some nursery. But, not high quality. So far, I only know the orchid nursery at OUG selling that.

May I know how many you want?

Btw, anyone here try the leaf pulling methods of propagation on flytrap or not?
Cause i want to know whether izzit ok if i use peat moss as the top layer, & sphagnum moss as bottom layer.

Also, may i know does it necessary to bury the while part of the leaf into the media ?

ngan, you have a nicely grow D. intermedia!!!!

If is no problem for the media. Why dont you just use all spagnum moss?

You need to bury part of the VFT leaf into media, may be 0.5cm ~ 1cm

Yeap.. the D.intermedia i was growing it under a PL light all the time, daily light for 7 hours.

===

As for the leaf pulling, i also dunno why, i just thought maybe if got a dense layer of peat moss on top of sphagnum, the plantlet will grow easily.. Is there any needs for me to take out those peat moss?

Ooh..., ok i tried to bury some part of it inside the media. Thanks

Leaf is rooted is normal. Dont pull the dry leaf out 1st. There may b plantlet forming in progress...

Nepenthes pitcher can grow bigger... But, maximum size is depends on sp.
