anyone connect X10 with computer? HDMI or PC RGB. Just wanna know can get pixel-2-pixel mapping or not? Meaning no over/under scan.

Another 1, got discrete IR command for power on/off and input? useful for universal remote..

I manage to call out the service menu to check for the hours use. So far i had done for about 7 hours for the break in and 3-4 hours for watching movies but just now i check the usage use in the service menu, it was only 34 mins. Is this normal?

Hi,

what are the key strokes to enter the service menu?

I have the 50X10(S), S means Singapore.
The previous threads said that, Vol- and Info Key(3 times), but I do not have the Info key on my remote.

I also tried, Vol- and 0 Key 3 times, but what it does is to reduce my volume to 0.

I tried a few times, and I don't see any service menu appear.

Just wanna check the no. of hours so far used. Any one can tell me the correct key strokes?
I thought the S version should be very similar to K version.

the "info" button does not have "info" written on it ...
it has "recall" written below.. and it looks like a rectangle box with a plus sign inside...

just connect pc to tv, and make sure the display is enabled in the display properties.
for the sound, make sure your graphic support audio out too. for nvidia, normally it involves plugging in the pass-through spdif cable to the card. for ATI 4000 series, u can omit that step. this will send audio through hdmi to your tv.

It works. and I checked the time on my 50X10 so far: 25 hours. I have used it for 8 days. so this is real.
Many thanks.

i set contrast to 100%, with dynamic mode during 100hr run-in (the rest at default), 30s with SDHC mode and looping. if u r using SDHC, make sure u chg the setting in picture viewing mode. how much u bought yours? welcome to the club.

Should we set higher contrast and brightness during break in period or lower? I keep searching for the previous post, some said we should lower down the contrast and brightness during the 1st 100 -200 hours of break in but some said we should set it to higher constrast and brightness by using dynamic mode with the break in dvd. Anyone can advise?

setting high is to expedite the burn-in process, afaik some prefer low due to worry of overheating or to play safe just in case hiccup happen
