just connect pc to tv, and make sure the display is enabled in the display properties.for the sound, make sure your graphic support audio out too. for nvidia, normally it involves plugging in the pass-through spdif cable to the card. for ATI 4000 series, u can omit that step. this will send audio through hdmi to your tv.
