Yes you can called up your credit card bank and ask for installment for the purchase of your macbook. If not mistaken Ive called citibank and they said yes they do provide but with a one time deal handling fee of 3% and they will convert it to 12 months installment plan.

Online apple doesnt offer installment plans for credit cards in Malaysia afaik. So you have to call your credit card bank and ask before purchasing. Other than Citibank, there many others who offers the same such as Maybank, CIMB, Eon Bank etc just call them and ask.

If Im not mistaken CIMB (direct access credit card users) they have 3 types of installment plans. 10 months (2% fee), 20 monhts (4% fee) & 30 months (forgotten).

Hope this helps.

Since you have quite a huge budget.. I can suggest that you should go for the 15" core i5 or even better upgrade it to core i7. As the processor are core i series, it will be future proof and also good for thos photoshop and video editing programs and upgrade your rams =D... Dont think 13" is powerful enough since you have a big budget.. Go big!

The weight of the 13" = 2.04kg while the 15" = 2.54kg...

Maybe you can go to the apple retailers shop there and get a feel and look at the real thing before deciding either 15" or 17" that way you can make better judgement =D

Since weight is not a problem then go ahead for 17" and upgrade it to core i7... You will love the screen =D

Not necessary to add the 8GB now unless you use alot of those memory hungry applications while doing alot of multitasking.. If multitasking on those lower memory consumption 4GB is more than enough...

Yea should add the ACPP later.. But do put a reminder at the almost end of the year to buy it.. Most ppl ended up forgotten and thus have to pay whole load of cash for servicing etc... =D

If im not mistaken yea.. they do support windows 64bit.. Im planning to do a dual boot with my windows 7 64 bit OS =D

RAM upgrades are very expensive... So if you dont think you will utilize it all, dont upgrade them =D

Depends on individual though... Ive read alot of ppl still prefer parallel or VMWare.... Cause they dont need to restart and boot again and they can minimize the window OS when not needed...

But dont have that much budget to spend on other softwares after purchasing my MBP =D

@man_hakim87 Yeap you definitely have to consider the portability... Portability for some ppl like those on the go business man definitely will choose MBP 15" over the iMac.. If you are those who only use your mac at home.. Then go for the iMac definitely...

Umm not sure about that.. Maybe you can PM wei (a famous forumer in this apple thread where he does modifications to his Mac) for more info... =D
