Another black x1 reporting in.
Currently still using stock ROM. Thinking of flashing to one of the custom ROM. Any suggestion? Anyone tried the Jack 3.1 medium? |

This X1 looks smaller physically as compared to the pics. Initially I thought it was bulky.
Just my impression. |

I don't see how X1 can be bulky. Its size is just right and fits nicely in your hands.

QUOTE(Freelancer @ Mar 28 2009, 06:09 PM) This X1 looks smaller physically as compared to the pics. Initially I thought it was bulky. It has the resolution of Touch HD and the small size form factor of a phone (even smaller than a P1).Just my impression. I'm still struggling with battery issues and SD issues.. bah.. I DO like both ROMs so far ..the TI 6.5 and TI v5 Tf3d. Damn wish I had both via panels tbh. Greed!! Anyone using the Growing Panel.. pretty nifty panel love it.. oh btw here's the quality of the x1 camera (resized ofc.. its way higher at 2048) 640 resized ![]() This post has been edited by mobilemeow: Mar 28 2009, 08:11 PM |

X1's camera is very clear, but the problem is the shaking only.
If I use the D pad to snap, the focus not so good, if I sset it to 2 seconds timer, I might miss the important momement. They should've came up with a better desgin for the button |

For the record, I AM NOT GONA SWITCH OFF MY LIGHTS.. if people wana switch off their lights they should switch off their porch lights, kitchen lights, room lights etc EVERY NIGHT lol. not just tonite. Sorry but a symbolic one hour wont save the Earth.
Besides my whole house is always on lowest power consumption and I only pay RM15 per month for the whole damn house.. so in summary, SWITCH OFF YOUR LIGHTS every day when your not using them! now back to our normal programming, actually I use multiple shots to get those great moments .. they look brill.. the vid looks brill too. SAVE OUR BEACHES instead!!... (Cherating wtf) ![]() |

QUOTE(yrh0413 @ Mar 28 2009, 09:22 PM) Mind telling me what am I losing with stock ROM? They include tons of nice software as well built into the ROM, that may or may not work perfectly. Each ROM goes into BETA then goes RC and goes through users over and over to get feedback and fixes. X1 is good as it is but tbh playing with these custom ROM will blow your mind as you unlock the potential. Especially if you factor in the use of Panels to switch UI and psuedo OSes. ROM also include beta OSes like WM 6.5. SO are there risks.. Yes and No. If you follow the steps in our century thread, you will see the steps. AND if you hate it, just flash back to your stock ROM R3A. and voila back to standard! Kovsky is currently THE device for WinMo devices! |

QUOTE(monster2020 @ Mar 28 2009, 11:28 PM) Hi Master here do anybody know what mp3 player is easy to use ? Use a free registry editor and do the following editsbecause i have store my mp3 in my x1 but seem that the windows media player can play but when i press the power button to standby it stop. on the xperial player can play but the song list very hard for me to edit or add song.. anybody can recommend something ? [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ Preferences] "UnattendedPlayback"=dword:1 "FastCacheReserve"=dword:00800000 "LocalCacheReserve"=dword:00800000 this should make windows media player continue playing your music even though in standby mode. a free registry editor is available in the PDA Application thread made sticky in the main PDA forum section Do tell me if it works |
