Gosh...R3AA is out already...didnt know bout it. Gonna get it updated through seus tomorrow. Any major improvements?

hmm.. regarding this.. i hope if rom  problem again. as WM not as rock solid stable as other simpler OS. so, a little wrong flash would juz cause this. try to hard-reset it ( backup data first).. if still occcur, ask SE to update to latest rom for u.

n welcome to WM platform!! a fun platform around.. but argh, sometimes it juz make me angry when i nid a simple phone for call. (the rom im using that time it juz hung my xperia super often). but that was wm6.5 early build rom, so later on i fine with wm6.1 or current wm6.5 rom.

how did you know i have a lot of problem bro?    i actually have 2 problem with this set:
1) Once i wake up in the morning, someone called me and i answered. after that my phone resolution / color / whatever you call it becomes bright, a lot of color out of sync... like i go to google panel, i can see it's all white color only... go to a lot of panels and menus still the same. finally press the power button up there (to sleep the device) and on again - voila back to normal. happened the first day after i bought it (scared the sh*t out of me) but never occur again till today.    i can juz hope it is WM problem not my X1 
2) device cannot turn on suddenly on 2 separate occasion, i was wondering what happened but after trying to simulate it, i guess it happens when the battery falls to 2 bar. i cannot turn on the device even though a minute ago my X1 has 2 bar on it. actually just dropped from 3 bar to 2 bar in a few minutes then it happened. however now i charge the battery full when it reaches 3-4 bar, and till now it's working fine. i hope it's the battery problem    but dunno how to determine the cause...

so currently my set works fine, and it's worth a try into WM world as the last time i bought a phone was 2 years ago (newly launched ori s500i) and it costs the same $ as this set.. so might as well try WM out to see if it fits me.. or i fit it.. 

other than that, the device works fine! juz i have not utilize it apart from using the GPS and phone capability, and a little bit of task and calendar setting. planning to utilise it slowly    with the help of forumers here!

ohh, the keypad u mean is the hardware 1 rite?
if in english version, its jus the characters not showing on the keypad, or cannot type chinese at all?

We are no longer using Zhuyin (Taiwanese use), we use pingyin with alphabet.
So the extra Zhuyin symbols on the keypad are useless and distracting!!!

Ah.. this bothering me for days i've installed the latest garmin mobile XT on my X1.. but it doesnt seem to be getting any satellite signals... i've set it to scan from COM4 which is set by default ...
can anyone kindly Help me? 

maybe you need to set it to GPS Intermediate Driver (or something like that).
i can't get any satellite signal using COM4, but works fine on the intermediate driver. but flashing some other custom ROM, it works on COM4 and won't work on Intermediate driver.

never bothered myself with it. as the GPS performance are similar with either one. as long as i'm not lost then it's fine with me.

Can someone help me? i dont know want to buy xperia x1 Black or Silver colour. I never see the phone by real. Just see by picture. can someone dicide for me? Pm me k. Plz. Thx..

R3AA10 is UK generic .... for voda it is R3AA13 ... nothing much core is still using old 19xxx build ... camera is new got autoflash & geotagging. New panel manager & new panel ... few tweak from SE i think

Hi u all. Can i join this thread? I just bought my xperia x1 solid black this evening. Its cool. But, it is true that the silver one is nice than black?    I start feel regret now. huhu..

not really. i also thought i prefer the silver after seeing so many good pics of silver X1. the black looks rather dull and not sophisticated enough and cheap and dirty and plasticky and like a cheap toy.

well until i went and touch the phone myself. although i always thought the silver looks better in each and every pic that i've came across on the net, i think the black is just nicer to see in real life.

and although i still think silver looks nicer in the pics (they really do, compared to black);
i'm holding a black X1 in my hands.

yeah!! Black rock dudez!    Mm.. I want to ask something. Can the X1 display become brightness like when in camera mode? Coz in the camera or video playing mode i notice that the display become brighter. But when in standby mode or today menu, it seem like it dim up a litle bit. Can some one help me with.. Or the X1 cannot adjust the brightness? Btw, thx u all..
