QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Apr 8 2009, 10:14 PM) yea sure. thanks for the tips charge, I've put in on the 1st page as the others' reference. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « anything more than #110 mainjet will make the engine feels heavy, bcoz the mixture becomes too rich. anyway, care to explain more about this : QUOTE B) Needle setting There are 3 ticks on the needle jet. The lowest tick will give us good FC, as it limits more petrol to flow from mainjet @ half throttle The highest tick will give us bad FC, as it let more petrol flows from mainjet @ half throttle. what's 'ticks'? |

QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Apr 9 2009, 09:27 AM) welcome dude. owh I see, thanks mate.that tick, when u take out the carburetor, then you can see on the needle. Its a place to put the needle clip. one more question : QUOTE A. Idle air-fuel mixture settings 1. Air screw set at about 2.5 turns for stock airflow. Modified exhaust + air filterless can use 2 turns. less air intake for aftermarket exhaust? |

QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Apr 12 2009, 06:59 PM) Imposible tat helium will explode.. Since helium is a element tat located at Group 18 in chemistry periodic table it is a stable gas unlike hydrogen which can boom.. If not mistaken the air inside the tyre of airplane is also using helium gas.. And the gas in hot air ballon also wor.. maybe i should go internet to do some research on it.. but IIANM helium molecules is smaller than nitrogen, so it is not suitable to be pump in the tire.that's because the tire will loss the helium at a faster rate than nitrogen, so w need to pump the tire more often if using helium as the compund. quote from wikipedia : QUOTE Because it diffuses through solids at three times the rate of air, helium is used as a tracer gas to detect leaks in high-vacuum equipment and high-pressure containers. QUOTE Nitrogen molecules are less likely to escape from the inside of a tire compared with the traditional air mixture used. Air consists mostly of nitrogen and oxygen. Nitrogen molecules have a larger effective diameter than oxygen molecules and therefore diffuse through porous substances more slowly. read more here and here |

QUOTE(kinwei3250 @ Apr 17 2009, 07:46 PM) hi, thnx for the help but sry i not vry understand how to... maybe he means that you need to close the pilot screw completely by turning the screw clockwise,2-2 1/4 turns counter-clockwise & around 1/8 clockwise and then turn/open the screw 2 or 2 1/4 turns (turn the screw anti-clockwise to open it). but for the idle screw, I tried to close it fully but seems can't |

hahaha.. nice picts there calvin, and nice TT too
anyway, changed my rear sprocket to 15-37 with 415 sprocket but 420 chain. stupid la dat foreman, he mistakenly installed that chain without realising its size not fully tested the setting, but I guess it won't diff much, just gear 2 became a lil bit long, can go up to 80km/h. |
