So Windows Vista 32biit doesn't support 4GB ram?

can anyone tell me what new games can be run? even if its LOW settings...

tried DMC4, fresh installed--- so laggy, tweaking it down to lowres --- runs smoothly.
tried NBA2k9 ---- no hopes. does anyone get it worked?

how bout SIMS 3? Fallout 3? L4D? GTA4? Saint'sRow2? Prototype(Dreaming On. lol) or anymore recommendations?

im not really into games, i just want to know if they work or not, sometimes when I'm at work I'm kinda bored...

The above is what I posted on this thread in May 2009. I also posted that I played SIMS 3 with no prob on this lappy. I don't expect you to look through all 30 pages, but that was what I did b4 I ask any question. TQ

my friends already bought this 4736z
using XP Profesional SP2
but there is 1 problem occured currently
it cannot login to window
when started, it's looks like login, but after a while it'll logout
even in the safe mode
is it a virus?

I'm the happy owner of the 4730ZG. I bought last april after went this thread too. But I forgot to give my feedback on this laptop. Actually I went through this thread since it was started. My interest to this laptop grew here. then, they went staight to my car. "They"? yes, they. I bought 2 of this model. one for me and another one for my wife. when she found that I wanted to buy it, she insisted to have it too. so, 2 of 4730ZG now in my possession.

I bought at rm2199 with a few freebies and also th 3 years warranty.

for the performance, they are still superb until now compared to those lappies of the same specs and price lah. mine came with the vista home premium original. and the staff at the shop were happy to help me to install it with "ehem-ehem" office 2007. no problems at all.

I had installed photoshop and it works fine. now I always use a few softwares that involving graphics, sounds and videos. and they are working very fine. even when I did multitasking with the programmes. no problem at all.

so I really satisfied with it. my wife too eventhough she just use it for ofiice works but she said that hers can beat her friends' lappies easily.

no more of this model? I found it true coz last 2 weeks I went to the same dealer to get it for my sister, but they told me there's no more 4730ZG. so I bought the 4736Z. when I tried it, mine still more powerful that 4736Z.

so guys, I hope my review help those who are still wondering what to get. my friend told me there are still some 4730ZG in the market. but you guys have to search for it lorr.

Been a while since I was on this thread.

Just want to say I installed Street Fighter 4 on this lappy. Did the ingame benchmark and it says "Rank E - Not capable of playing this game. You need to upgrade".

Tune down the resolution and SF4 will play fine.

guys.. I'd bought this laptop 1month+ ago, got some problem now, it's laptop screen is shaking up and down.. how to solve this problem? Anyone had experienced about this?

Shaking up and down?? Do you mean the screen is not stable...or the hinges are loose?

My display is moving up and down unstably.. Now it appear one light line on top and bottom of the screen...

how about turn off the V-Sync & AA result? (model - mid, background - high, the rest follow default)

i got this laptop for rm1.5k
only been used for 3 months
is it worth it?

For this kind of problem, it seems like a hardware failure. Most probably LCD screen or LCD cable. Might be a good idea to bring to service center for warranty claim, if its still under warranty.

mine also appear light line(purple colour) on the bottom of the screen...
need to go to service center to fix?
how long will it take?

I think maybe LCD damaged. Better claim from acer. My friend got send to acer, they managed to repair in 4 days. But my other friend had to wait almost a month. they said because no stock for the lcd. so..i guess it depends
