Guys, I am going to do Bachelor of Informations Technology and Systems(BITS) at Monash. But I actually want to do Bachelor of computer science, but I did not meet the requirement because i got 47.5 for my math when they require 50. Is it possible for me to transfer from BITS to CS after the first year, if I do really well in my exams?

Perhaps you can try to appeal to the School of IT if you have already applied. If you haven't, you may want to try your luck by applying for both.

I'm currently doing CS and I haven't heard of cases where BITS students transfer to CS but I do hear of CS students transferring to BITS. Please ask the course advisor for more details. However, if you don't get into CS, don't be too down because you can always take a few CS subjects as your elective if you want to..

As far as I know, BITS and CS have about 6 (?) core subjects that is universal for the school of IT.

I'm not very sure how the course structure is like for BITS because you have majors so you really need to check with the school..
