Fees for what course? There are so many courses in Monash, we can't help you with all of it. But i'm very sure you can see all of this information on the uni's website. I certainly did.

I did science for my a levels. Now i decide to do business and commerce at monash. Will it be difficult for me? Will they start from the basic? How r the lecturers there? R they friendly and approachable? Generally what u think about this course offered by monash. Ur comment is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the syllabus is all the same, cause do bear in mind that both Clayton and Sunway are sharing the same code, 0032, therefore, the syllabus are all the same. Thats for Engineering tho, but for Commerce/Business I think it's slighty different over the campuses.

From the part you bolded, what I was trying to say is that if you were to ditch your exchange program after you 2nd year exchange in Clayton, you HAVE to pay Monash Australia, the Australia fees. And the fees you paid initially in RM will be refunded to you. So, it's like doing a transfer program straight from the 2nd year, where you pay the remainder of your course in Aussie Dollars.

And sadly, no, from my experience from my friends and stories I've heard for the past couple of years, it seems either you exchange or transfer actually.

I'm not exactly sure about location of completion matters in the eyes of the employers. But they wouldn't know as the degree you receive should be a exact copy regardless of your location of completion. But, then again, I'm not 100% sure on this matter. In order to know exactly, you'll have to ask someone in Monash Sunway, preferably someone in the Engineering faculty. But for Business/Commerce, I'm 100% sure that the degree you receive is based on the campus you graduate in. And many major companies, upon looking at your degree, they'd know which campus are you from. And of course, Clayton being the most prestigious campus amongst all, would get a preference ahead of those around the same level but different campus.

Yeah, I'm doing my 4 years in Clayton. But I'm entitled to sibling discount since my brother is over here as well. But for the time being, I've no plans on doing my Masters. If I were to do my Masters, I would want to get some working experience first, before venturing into Masters.

Erm, can I ask, is your half million in RM or Aussie Dollars, cause if it's in RM, I honestly have to tell you that it may not be enough for the transfer option as essentials such as accomodation, food, transportation etc isn't exactly the cheapest over here in Melbourne.

As for my friends' problem, most probably, they want to venture into aerospace early I guess? Personal preference i guess?

swinburne is in melbourne.........

transfer is moving completely to another campus.......

exchange is just doing 1 or 2 semesters at another campus, and you have to complete the final year in the home campus.......and you still pay home campus fees, in this case msia fees............

for swinburne, if say you stay 3 years at the msia campus, you pay msia fees.........and when you transfer the final year to melbourne, you just pay the final year fees in aud.......

Well Clayton is the only campus amongst all that's ranked top 50 in the world anyway.

Sibling discount? My bro got his degree there 3 years ago. Am I still entitled the privilege?

Well, if I transfer to there for, say, 2 years? I reckon I can still afford it. I'm talking about RM btw. My plan is actually 2 years here, 2 years there and 1 year Masters there as well. Since my relatives are there, I reckon I'll need to pay about AUD1000 per month inclusive of all 3 meals. Not sure yet though..still a long long way to go.

What are the chances of getting into monash, if you've marginally passed the academic entry requirements?

who is studying in clayton?? how far is the campus from melbourne city center?? how long does it usually take to go to the city center from clayton campus?? thank you

hmm..can anyone tell me parkville and clayton campuses are for what courses??

bah, I dont know. I used google earth, the tools to get the distance, by transport. 27km.

and 20+km is on the Monash Fwy highway, so its quite fast i suppose.

Parkville is for medicine i guess.
Clayton is for almost everything ( main campus), except Electrical engineering ( SUnway)and environmental Engineering ( gippsland).
they have slightly higher entry requirement compared to other campus for most program.

In addition, Claufield campus would be the one carrying out most postgrad degrees.
