Promosi Celcom Broadband - Kakitangan Kerajaan

May 26th, 2009 by nuwa

Saya ingin kongsikan berita gembira khas buat kakitangan kerajaan kerana pihak Celcom Malaysia sekarang sedang mengadakan promosi Broadband. Pakej promosi broadband yang saya maksudkan adalah :

1. Percuma Modem Broadband Vodafone!

2. Sewa Bulanan RM50!

3. Kelajuan Internet up to 3.6 Mbps!

Alright my 24 hour with Celcom prepaid expires in few minutes time. Tried out at Pudu and Kelana Jaya area.

Disconnection 1-2 x only , that was when the 3G signal suddenly drop. Can download at 40k/s with torrent even though I don't have an unique external IP address.

Surfing was 98% satisfactory.Local and foreign websites load very fast. Couldn't tell the difference from streamyx.

i need the latest info here..

I'm not a celcom user. I plan to get 1 prepaid. after i read it here, it should be Xpax 3G prepaid right, and it can also subscribe to the celcom prepaid BB package rigth?

Ok now, i need confirmation, the Xpax 3G prepaid & Celcom prepaid BB will have the same speed and IP or different? Because i was thinking why not getting a prepaid with call/sms rather than just data prepaid.

wireless is never meant for heavy torrent but for normal surfing and light downloading, celcom broadband rocks.

Coverage very good, got hsdpa almost everywhere

I'm in pg. I am using Celcom Broadband Prepaid. I am wondering whether u guys get 3G or HSDPA signal. In pg always 3G but in PJ I got HSDPA. Anyway 3G surfing is very smooth and satisfied over in Penang.

Hi uncleJ,

1. Any hsdpa usb modems will do the job.  Price starting from rm200 and above on Garage Sales thread. Most Common ones are Huawei brand that of e220 and the K series.  K series allow you to slot a microSD (thus a modem that acts as your thumbdrive too)  Oh, try to find the ones which are unlocked (meaning, you can use them with any telcos if you decide to switch ISP in the future)

Examples of modems, check it below :

here

you can click his siggy to see different types of modems on sale.

2.  Starter Pack of Celcom Broadband Prepaid is RM25 for a rm20 airtime credit.

3. Yup, correct and the weekly plan comes with a 2GB limit plan.
p/s : my office is heavily firewalled too and blocks almost everything which has become ridiculous. lol.

I knew I posted something earlier, lol. So I'm looking at something $200-$400++ eh. Don't really need voice/sms capability since I already have a h/p, a data-only device will be fine. Gonna look up those devices in his sig. Thanks for the link!

I think it's 3 months (100 days, they called it grace period) for your sim and number to be terminated. If go outstation, comeback before 3 months, top it up again, then can use again. Check the booklet comes with CBP.

Dude, even after 3 months, get a new cardlah, after all no registration and nobody call u on that number.
