is there any difference if you use weekly unlimited on

1) 3G xpac prepaid sim

2) Blue sim

3) Uox sim

4) postpaid (3G ) sim and how does celcom charges, is it iclusive of the rm50 if on CEP50

5) normal xpac sim
*
for postpaid n prepaid plan da ip is difren...postpaid got gud connection compared 2 prepaid plan...however sum claim dat da celcom broadband prepaid got better connection compared wif xpax,UOX n blue bcoz of da dedicated broadband account/USIM...

for question "4" da postpaid plan under CEP50 da data charges is base on 10cents/10kB...

So far the connection better than my Celcom 3g Blue Prepaid.
Celcom 3g Blue always disconnect and give me the red and blue error message no matter what time I connected to internet.

jiant,

unlimited, but not really unlimited. hehe. smile.gif
weekely unlimited comes with allocated data usage of 2GB actually. Speed will be throttled to 64kbps if volume exceeded.

the 5gb is if you are under Broadband Basic n Advance package.

Ours are under the Celcom Broadband Prepaid.

Check it out here.

I think you r giving wrong information. The prepaid broadband only runs at 384kbps (= 48kB/s) even though the connection indicator stated as HSPDA.
This only shows that area got HSPDA coverage but your speed is still 3G speed (384kbps). Besides, prepaid broadbands are disappointingly very unstable compared to postpaid broadbands. sad.gif

As expected, CBP seems to have a better and stable connection. Now using it on my 3rd weeks, very much happy, less dc, less blue and red errors too.

I agree on this one when it comes to Xpax, Blue and UOX, but i am much happy with CBP. So far CBP has been running good, as constant as Celcom Broadband Advance with the difference is only on speed (3g and full HSDPA).

szaku89,

are you still using CBP? smile.gif

"when your friends start download something, celcom will charge him 10sen/10kb."
- this is indeed going to be very expensive, since opening a dynamic rich content web page (like yahoo, or maxis main page) will consume 500kb and upwards on a pc, unless you are using opera.
