everybody known that removing absorber/tie rod end/lower arm from knuckle need wheel alignment back after installation.
*
I was finding for rear wheel allignment also. But I never see any rear allignment been done in any tyre shop. I guess those digital ones dun have but the older analog allignment machines have. Cause this days tyre shop say front allignment. At the back no need one even after changing rear absorber. ==

engine dirty la fren .... malu  blush.gif

btw guys, any idea whats the cause for soot buildup at the exhaust tip ?
*
Sometimes it might be the oil leaking from one of the valve seal or the oil too rich. Oil too rich maybe A/F ratio wrong already or the choke flap is a lil covering the intake carburator hole there. Make sure is 100% straight of the flap though.

I wanna ask. Ori L200s blow off is it sound a lil silent or quite loud?

hmn.nice..gives the car a sportier look.
you just changed to spring only? absorber maintain stock?

i;m contemplating on either a Sapura Pro-ride or a L5.
Not sure which is better for comfort yet slightly lowered (not much for performance).
*
L5 is much comfortable though compare to Sapura Pro-ride. But the ride height can say slightly lower than normal kancil stock. Around 3 fingers like that i think.

Anyone know what type of bulb is L5 spotlight?

currently i'm using GAB in my gen2..car lowered but the comfort still there though not as comfort as before
handling better, looks ok n of coz bit bumpy nod.gif
but i never use other brand before so i need comparison info..
i think with light weight kancil coz much bumpy if using GAB tongue.gif
*
From what i heard ya, CUS is a good spring. Its much better than OEM and its very comfortable. But you want stability go for APM. Quite bouncy compare to normal but its comfortable a lil compare to GAB springs. GAB are hard and slightly less comfortable then APM from my opinion. Im using APM btw.

QUOTE(zx12 @ Aug 22 2009, 11:27 AM)
how about other electrical accessories like radio? all normal or got problem also? most probably ur alternator since when u press the brake, the lights dim (alternator not putting out enough power and battery already weak since idle for 20mins with aircond on)..

i wouldn't say the alternator is completely dead, but its not producing enough power..probably only produce 14v at high revs..can ask ur mechanic to check with the battery tester..
do u mean add grounding wire kit? i wanna install also bt some people say waste money..no effect
whatever u choose, make sure u pick the right absorbers that matches the spring..if use standard or oem abs with lowered spring, sure will kong very fast..
EJ-ZL from which car? JB-JL these days can find parts..quite a lot at halfcut already but a bit more expensive la..it runs smoother though..very nice to cruise at 90-110km/h..many people who convert engine go for JB-JL now..
*
EJ-ZL is also from L510 model. Its just an N/A engine similar to the JB-JL. The maintainence costs is lower. But its rare to see this engine laying around.

ALOT of ppl like to condemn about kancil..say too small lahhh...not safe...so light this and that...but when it comes to tight parking spot, who can fit in easily??a kancil or S class??driving around KL its abit inconvinient to drive such a big car especially in town centre where all the parking spots are so darn tight...
*
Similar, alot of my friends drove higher horse power car, and then girls like you should not drive this type of unsafe car. Parking spot or playing jam is fun. Some even says dun waste money on Kancils. Its no point. Its like dumping money into the sea. sweat.gif

Guys,
i just installed L2 double layer 12" ventilated brakes.
can these brakes take kancil brake pads? or they require specific L2 ones?

i'm asking this cause right now my car produces rattling sounds when going on rough roads. isolated sounds only moving and near the brake & suspension area. could it be the problem? Help!
*
This one they required L2 specific ones. You check the suspension screw part there. Sometimes it might be loose and also check the knuckle holder and the ball bearing. Mine just change last week only. Practically if you gone through flooded place. Its confirm is the ball bearing. Cause that part will be rusted.

Btw,any idea how to change the meter for kancil, standard is Green right???want to change it to white or blue lar...thanks
*
owh ya you can take out the metre first. Then behind there there is Black colour knobs. You can turn out the light and see a light with green colour rubber material covering the bulb. Actually you can take out the bulb and change it. Do that for 4 other various parts of the meter.

i think 1 more hidden cost is Puspakom n JPJ fee...
air-cond parts included a/c pump,condenser,coil,pipes.etc...
coz if use back half-cut a/c pump(Denso),MAY not so cold...worst come to worst the pump is no functioning...
i think those count as hidden cost...LOL
