Today I declare Lightning saix is the world fastest Zoids alive.WOW...... I built mine already. It has two mode, tails down is for normal speed run, and tails up is for the hyper speed run, I'll will post a longer vid later for the lightning saix moves in my Youtube soon. Glad I have it, sure to beat ferrari F1 team with my lightning saix. It goes 325 km/ph. But not sure can it beat Energy Liger that goes max speed of 660 km/ph

try the saix on a slightly non slippery surface it will beat energy liger. Energy liger though fast its heavy. I got my Mammoth today. will post pic tomorrow since wont be at home till late.

Thanks to Sir Edmaestro for allowing me to enjoy some White Box ZOIDS goodness.
Although why he calls it White Box is a mystery. It's more brown-and-cream striped box!


This and clear Molga will stay M.I.B until I can bring them to Kuching. Cousin Buyus had a help in getting them and I'll have to share the building experience. How unfortunate.
For those who are curious - no, no extra magazine or anything.
I don't know if the stickers are any different from the NJRs or OJRs.



CLEAR RED HORN Contents. The motor is standard black and the instruction booklet is also the standard one, I think.




CLEAR MOLGA Contents. Like Red Horn, the spring motor is standard black.

I think only Holotech ToysRUs Gojulas is the only one with clear, uncoloured motor box. Not sure about clear Genesis Ligers and Bioraptor.

As promised i built this rare piece to share.
The OER mammoth also known as the blue zoid is made in singapore. There is no difference in color between OJR & OER. Another similar color is the OAR radioshack mammoth but has "TANDY" text displayed on the battery cover. I have concluded that mine is an OJR as it is made in Japan....

Rider, I guess the dialogue is from STAR WARS EMPIRE STRIKES BACK between Darth Vader and Boba Fett from this scene.

I played with the mammoth for about 30minutes. I wish to write something about it, both mammoth and ZRK/Biga was the first 2 largest zoids back in the 80's with very primitive design on the mechanism that makes it move. I think it is bold enough for me to say they are more complex than any of the newer design zoids 1996 onwards. One need to understand the mind of creators in the late 80s planning the production for mammoth. They just cannot be rated with modern standards. Though some does not have the taste buds for its appearance but let me say that it is for me a nostalgic piece i have in my collection. Let us hope bigasaurus/ZRK will be put in planning for reissue as it is one zoids u would want to get 'affordabley'.

As for comparison with Zoidscore reissue vs OJR.
It only mentioned TOMY MADE IN JAPAN so does on Bigasaurus. One huge difference to differenciate the zoidscore and OJR is the engine transparent color. OJR is brownish transparent while Zoidscore is clear transparent plastic. I do not think its zoidscore as it was reissued sometime 2003.

As long as you don't paint the chrome gold and silver ones from long ago, that's okay.

Better think of a colour-scheme to paint the pilots of the clear Horn and Molga. They are standard NJR blue plastic. Can you make them invisible?

@Edmaestro: I'm all for the reissue of Zrk. Although, like you said, don't know how many kids would find the design appealing. It's more skeleton than the Genesis Biozoids.
Have you tried switching the neck of Zrk with Mammoth's trunk? Should be the same, I think.
